    Yeah they are good my mate works there as a painter, also James Blair in Falkirk, he just painted my full roof and touched a few bits up for me.

    Cleaning the maf is hit or miss, imo if the maf is the fault your better replacing it to be on the safe side. CEL is Check Engine Light you would see this as it's in the instrument cluster low on the rhs. When I replaced my MAF it was £200 and that was at cost price.     What year is the car? This sounds like your maf is playing up. Did your CEL come on? If it's a classic look on scoobypedia and it'll show you how to read the fault codes.

    yeah the va hose is the thin one that goes to the bov.

    Check your vacum hose going to he dump valve mate. Do you have a boost guage? If so maybe the T piece you use to break into the vac hose has come off there??

    Yeah the tesco stuff is ok but tbh I prefer V power. If I have to use tesco 99 i always put some booster in as well.

    Sorry guys, I was just starting to post when my neighbour asked me to go round and wire a cooker in for him. When i've been out the wee ones been playing with the comp. Hey she's bound to be the youngest ever poster at 3 eh? lol Anyhoo got the car back all lovely and shiney, what a job James Blair in Falkirk have made, I would highly recomend them.

    Hi Gus James Blair is doing it mate, have used him before and he puts a good job out. Very reasonable too.
