  4. Got a pleasant surprise today when I got in from work. The new rims were waiting on me. A big thanks to Gaz at Rimstyle for the excellent deal and superfast delivery. Here's some pics what do you all think??
  5. sorry to disapoint the masses here but I've bought a set of rotas, hopefully they'll arrive in time for the motor fair this week. at £585 with yokohama tyres I couldn't resist. A big thanks to Gaz at Rimstyle.
  6. you bugger grant. lol. i was resigned to not getting them and rimstyle are doing the rota wheels 17 " with yokohama tyres for £585. Now i'm in a dilema.

  8. this is absolutly disgusting, who the hell do these people think they are, surely if they borrowed the wheels from you it should be up to them to get them back to you. and as for the lie about them splitting upthen you seeing them together is a joke. you should have marched right up to them and let them know how angry you are.

  12. Drove my mates new age which compared wi my 97 sti555 felt like a boat. mon the classics they rock
  13. Had the 555 in for a service, timing belt and mot today. Can't recomend them highly enough. Kept me informed with the progress of the car.( timing belt was a sore hit as it needed a new hydraulic tensioner and the 3 bearings on the pulleys) also the crankshaft oil seal was weeping so Dunc slotted a new one in while he was in there. the service was second to none. Flew through the MOT no bother although will prob need new tyres and front discs and pads soon. Just need to save up some more cash to get some goodies now.
  14. just got my 97 sti 555 serviced by Hypertech and they used motul v300 15w/ 50
  15. see you've got ECG as a sponser on the corsa, didn't they go down the pan????
  16. Take it back to whoever serviced it.
  17. Just remember that if you fit the sti ones to a uk car you wont have a fog light mate
  18. any exhaust place should be able to fit longer rubbers to alow it to clear the bumper
  19. if you decide to fit the originals and are selling the sti one's i would take them off you.
  20. it depends how deep the cratches are, if they are just light then t- cut should do the trick, if they are deep then a machine polish would be required. Blue dragon or scoobyiain would be the guys to ask.

  22. Thought you had to have pay as you go registered now cos of that?
