come on guys u know u want to. my car has recently had a full decat and walbro fuel pump fitted and i need the remap to get the most from the car and andy is the man.

i took part in the group buy last year on my old car, arranged the appointment with andy myself, just need an idea of numbers and looking to get done in the next couple of months.

im looking to get my car mapped soon and wondering if there is anyone else looking to do the same so that we could organise a bit of a discount from andy. if you can put your names down i will contact him to see how many we would need to get a decent price, please put what model car u have and what ecu etc u would be looking to get, ie ecutek remap or apexi etc. cheers.

totally pissed off. finally received the docs from customs to enable me to register my sti, went today to the dvla at the gyle, they told me will be 3 working days to get tax disc and a reg number, so tuesday. booked with andy f on wednesday morning, car needs to be serviced, belts changed, full decat fitted, walbro pump fitted before the map so not going to be possible. sent andy a email today telling him cant make it and to see if he can swap me with someone else for the following week. thanks to customs for taking a month to get their a***s in gear.

the car is insured with the chassis number but i dont yet have it registered so dont have a reg so cant drive it. i have sent stewart a text asking for his.

need some help, still not received the clearance doc from customs so cant register my car, been on the phone to them twice this week total joke. anyway, car booked in with andy f for a remap next wednesday and i need to get the car through to the garage first for a service and get my full decat fitted plus a walbro fuel pump but cant take it any where without plates!! can anyone help me out please?? im in edinburgh.

not fussy about having 2 maps tbh. what about the walbro should i get this fitted.

my car is booked in for a remap with andy in july, i was going to supply the apexi fc and commander but it turned out to be already sold so the question is, can andy supply the apexi or should i go for the slightly more expensive simtek? i have emailed andy twice over the last few days and had no response to the same question. is he abroad? oh my car is sti v3 classic. was also thinking about getting a walbro fuel pump before the mapping, already got a full decat fitted. does anyone know much about the simtek? has anyone had it fitted to their car?

cheers mate. managed to get one off then turns out cant fit the flap as one of the bolts supplied isnt long enough. had enough tbh. will get the garage to fit them when i take it in for its service and exhaust fitting. if the paperwork ever turns up to get it registred!!!!

im in edinburgh mate. no they are nut/washer job, i dont have the right tools for the job, and tbh im not the best when it comes to stuff like this.

been trying to get these off so i can fit my mudflaps on my classic, what a nightmare!! only held on with 2 bolts but can i get them off??!!! dont have the correct size socket been trying with a 8mm spanner and plyers but iv given up. totally pissed off!! looks like im going to have to pay someone to do the job for me. Oh and my paperwork from customs still hasnt showed up so its still sitting on the drive unregistered so i cant drive it. was bad enough waiting on it arriving from japan now its been on my drive for a week and i still cant drive the bloody thing!!!!!!

taking the splash guards off tomorrow and fitting my flaps iv bought from performance creations, black with sti logo, then to get the full h&s system fitted with the jap style pipe, cant wait.

picked my car up from stewart on wednesday and i love it!! not registered yet waiting on paperwork from customs which is very frustrating as its sitting on my drive just waiting to be driven. spent from 10o'clock on thursday morning till 8pm cleaning it as it was filthy must of been sitting outside for months had bad run marks and engrained dirt but it now looks stunning after a lot of hard work!! washed it twice by hand, then clayed with meguires clay kit, then polished using merzenza intensive polish, then buffed off then the next day applied autoglym total gloss protection. to say all this transformed the paint is an understatement, it looks stunning in the flesh and the condition of the car is amazing, no dings or dents all original paint dont think stewart could of got me a better example, only 40000mls on the clock and totally standard bar a blitz turbo timer, drives fantastic. big big thanks to stewart at sc imports for finding me such a fantastic example making the whole process totally painless. if anyone is thinking of importing a mint classic or any other model look no further than sc imports. heres a few pics on the drive, will post more up once registered in a nicer location. cheers and thanks again stewart, i love this car!!

Finally got my hands on my classic version 3 sti today met stewart from sc imports in lennoxtown to pick the car up after it flew through its mot and was the first time i had seen it in the flesh, delighted with it, not a mark on it, but its filthy, looks like its been lying for ages still has the writing on the windscreen etc from the auction in japan, interior is immaculate, engine bay is spotless and totally standard even has the standard exhaust, was looking forward to spending tonight starting to fully valet it with the stuff iv bought from polished bliss, clay bar kit etc but the weather has put paid to that. forgotten just how immense these cars are to drive felt so tight and very quick on the drive back its only covered 40k and engine is really quiet, had a couple of cars trying it on on the m9 was good to press the pedel in 5th and just take off and leave them in my wake. anyway will get pics up once iv finished washing/claying/polishing and then will have to get my full decat fitted cheers.
