Im looking to get the headers on my my00 uk turbo ported, had a quote from harvey over on scoobynet for his all singing and dancing ported and heat wrapped headers and matched up pipe which isnt cheap, was wondering if there is anyone in scotland doing this or does anyone have a set they are selling?

I have spoken to andy and he has advised the prices quoted are the best he can do, also this group buy will be limited to 20 cars so if anyone else wants in best add your name asap. could everyone else start emailing andy direct to get dates booked in for your cars and also remember to let him know that it is part of the sidc group buy to ensure you get the discount. Is there anyone travelling down to this? Had a look on the prodrive website they are having a sale of prodrive upgrade parts on the day some nice parts available no prices listed though.

where is the best place for me to get whiteline front and rear alloy droplinks and a rear arb for my classic uk turbo? also is the 22mm rear arb the one to get?

can i ask why you didnt get the car inspected by the rac or aa prior to such a long and wasted journey?? speaking from experience one persons view of a car being in excellent or mint condition varies a lot from others. would of saved you a lot of time and grief and money. hope you find the right car, there are still some lovely classics out there but they are just getting harder to find, i know im looking at the moment as well.

well folks, rac inspection getting done on my sti v3 tomorrow for a buyer from dublin, he has said if this comes back as ok then the deal is done, so looks like i may not have a subaru for much longer and wont make this event. maybe ill be back in subaru ownership again one day. cheers, Jamie.

well after going through all the hassle of getting a mint v3 sti imported by sc imports this year and trying to sell it im now going to try and keep it. money is the problem. ok i have a totally mint car which i love to bits, i have spent lots of money on it since i got it, new clutch, flywheel, cambelt service, full decat. wife been nagging me because of money issues but iv advertised it had a couple of total timewasters who didnt even bother to come and view the car so im going to keep it. the car is immaculate, drives superb and puts a big smile on my face everytime i use it (which isnt very often) i have an old vw polo i use everyday and scoob comes out on nice days only but i dont want to lose it. dont think i could get another example as nice as this one and its only done 42k. just know im going to spend more money on it but will have to work some overtime at work to pay for it. couple of things i want to get done to it i have fitted a new alpine head unit and have bought focal front components and an amp and have some infinity 6x9 and a vibe 10" sub that i want to get fitted so that i can listen to music the way it should sound and also want to get an apexi fc and commander fitted and mapped by andy forrest so that the car is running spot on and to release a few extra ponies andy says to expect 320=330bhp with the car in current set up and i need to start using the car on a daily basis to justify having it. Oh, i also want to waxoil the car can i buy this stuff in halfords and do i just slap it on with a paint brush?

well i was trying to sell my v3 sti but after a couple of timewasters who didnt even bother to come and view the car im going to keep it. so i will be up for this. dont want to sell anyway, would be a big mistake.

did anyone see if the apexis in the cabenet were the ecus and commanders and what cars they were for?

imo i would stay clear of cars that have had engine rebuilds, but thats just me. spec sounds very good had lots of money spent on it but budget for new wheels and rear lights as they look ****. again imo.

you will love the 172 cup mate. i had one about 3 years ago bought it brand new got it lowered and fitted itg panel filter and a magnex exhaust they really fly, light cars proper hot hatch, great handling and very quick. enjoy.
