mint condition with only 54k on the clock, currently at sw motorsport and then andy f on tuesday took the magnex 6x4 off didnt like the look of it replaced it with a h&s scoobysport. not in the pics.

finally i have my uk turbo 2000 booked in for a remap with andy in august, cant wait. i have a few parts to be fitted before then though, was thinking of going to sw motorsport?? heard good reports on here and just up the road from me. parts to be fitted 1. Andy forrest hybrid td04 2. set of ported headers/up pipe 3. prodrive y pipe 4. prodrive 3 port boost solinoid 5. walbro fuel pump car at the moment has a full decat from turbo back and a green panel filter, im hoping with the above mods fitted and andys magic with the ecutek for the magic 300bhp and similar torque. should make for an interesting drive home!!!!

yes, look long and hard, i did, trawled through pistonheads and owners clubs everyday looking for the right car and found it eventually after several months of looking right here on sidc as stated above, look for condition, service history, and choice mods because trust me if its standard you will spend shed loads on it even if you swear you wont.

well ill be changing the turbo soon which is what i was told is the likely cause so i will soon find out. oh and its an excuse to upgrade to an andy forrest td04 hybrid thanks to geo on here.

but then wouldnt there be smoke on start up? it only appears after its been driven for a bit then sit idling. if it was the valve stem seals what does fixing them involve? is it a big job?

well iv described the symptoms to the subaru specialist garage and the first thing they said was sounds like the turbo seals, i have no other symptoms, ie never overheated, not using water, no noises, car drives spot on etc.

car is running standard boost, just one of those things, it is over 10 years old. i may take you up on the offer mate, bit short of cash just now so probably my best bet.

just in the last week started to notice bit of smoke on idle then a bit of a puff of smoke when i pull away after been stuck in traffic, spoke to the garage and they said sounds like turbo oil seals, will either need sending away for refurb or i can upgrade, car is a my00 uk turbo, only done 53k, looks like im going to bite the bullet and go for an andy forrest hybrid tdo4, not what i needed just now as skint as just paid for my summer hols, car gets driven so gently as well, just one of those things i suppose. gutted.

here she is when i owned her, few years ago now, was my first subaru, and boy did i love that car. glad to see she is still looking great and in the sidc and being looked after.

not sure but this looks exactly like my old car. i sold it to a guy in dalkeith few years back then he sold it a while after . does it have hi spec front brakes? leda coilovers? andy f remap? black prodrive gearknob? reg number used to be xxxxxx but was changed to a private reg. i was the second owner of the car.

on sunday, beeped the horn at you as going on the opposite carrageway, red classic with gold wheels near to asda on a1 on hard shoulder, hope you got it sorted. (i was in mica red classic)
