  1. Oh yes. Time to write a stroppy letter to their insurance company I think and send a few photos and quotes for the repair.....
  2. My car has been off the road for 3 months having upgrade works done under the hood (full details will be posted later). Today, was the happy day I had to collect her. I couldn't wait. I got up to Nottingham from Bromley and heard her running. Absolute heaven. I paid for all the work that was done and was handed back the keys. I pulled out their drive and..... ... a poxy f***king truck side swiped me!!! "Sorry mate, didn't see you". B0110x damn p!$$..... The front offside corner is a mess. The company took the car in again and put her on hoists to make sure all was well structurally which it happily appears all is ok and I was able to drive her back to Bromley. However, where's this karma come from? Who have I upset to deserve this???? On a happier note, my car sounds fantastic!!! I can't wait to bring it to a meet now I've finally got her back. Martin
  3. Will the insurance not cover that £300? However, I also have been informed of these new cameras by some colleagues at work. Big Brother is out to get you! Martin
  4. 10. Emmo If I've got my car back in time, I'll be there for my first meet.
  5. Here you go guys. Just to whet your appetite, a photo from the last A1GP meeting at Brands Hatch..... I have some videos too - I'll try and get them on YouTube later. I
  6. I went last year, for the first ever A1GP race. I walked around most of the track. The best place to stand is at Paddock (obviously!) but this is where the majority of the people are so unless you are there super early you won't get a good view. My mate and I stood on the outside of Druids for the first race, but then walked around and stood on the inside of Surtees at the end of the Cooper Straight. In face, Robbie Kerr broke down just in front of us (perhaps I'm jinxed!) Anyway, I can't go this year because I'm on night shifts next week. If you are going, enjoy yourselves. Martin
  7. Planning to be there. New to these forums. Will depend if my car is back in time!
  8. Glad you like the video - that was the best bits really of what is about 1 1/2 hours of footage. Youtube cuts down the quality somewhat, which is a shame. What I was surprised about when I first saw the footage was how much body roll there is. Check out the exit to Clearways when I go into Clark Curve (the last long right hander) and see how bad it is. My next mods will be suspension and brakes, I think! Martin
  9. Track days are brilliant brilliant fun. I took my Scooby to Brands last October and got it round in a best time of 62 seconds. A video was made up by a mate of mine. He walked around the whole circuit capturing me from all sorts of angles and made up a lap from the various clips. Please forgive the cars appearing and disappearing around me. Like I said, it's a composite from various clips. I will probably be going back mid-May once my car is back from ScoobyMania and will post the date up so if others are interested they might like to join me? Martin
  10. Yes Dal, uprated fuel pump going, plus also forgot to mention front mounted intercooler and new clutch to cope with the extra torque. I should ask, does anybody know any MoT stations close to Bromley who are friendly towards decat scoobs? Martin
  11. Here's hoping! From what I understand it should be kicking out around 375bhp when she's done. I can't wait!! [] Martin
  12. Hi all I'm new around here. I have a 98 Impreza Turbo 2000. It's currently at ScoobyMania in Nottingham having a few upgrades..... should be back this week with: Full decat exhaust, induction kit, 18G turbo, 550cc fuel injectors, GEMS ECU. It's also had new pistons and rods to cope with the extra power and to allow further mods in the future All being well should make the meet at Dartford coming up. Martin
