  1. Hi guys and gals I believe my diff has given up the ghost. I am still waiting my mechanic to confirm that this is the problem, but I could potentially be after a diff for a TY752VB3FA gearbox (I believe this is a 4.111 ratio) for a '97 classic. Does anybody have one available for purchase? Alternatively, after my gearbox gave up about 4 years ago, I replaced both 'box and diff, with grateful assistance from eurosti (who now seems inactive). Can anybody confirm whether the diff from my original TY752VN5BA would work, as the SPDA sheet has no details on this 'box. Many thanks in advance peoples Martin

    Cv Joint

I have found this page on the interweb. http://www.japanesemotorspares.co.uk/produ...-to-2000-22-22b Can any of the experts amongst us advise if this is the right part to order, please?
  3. Hi all Long time since I been around here, but life has been hectic. However, I know who to call on in my hour of need! And no, for once I don't mean Ghostbusters! I have a knock on my offside front wheel and figure my CV joint is on its way out. Does anybody have one for a 97 Classic available? Subaru are quoting £500! And if you're in the Bromley area, or near even better but I'll consider anywhere. Many thanks in advance Martin
  4. I have to say how much I enjoyed driving past all the stranded Mercs and Beemers this morning! Outta my way!! Coming through!!
  5. Saw Granby this morning at 9.45 in Lewisham. Didn't get a wave but then he was in a big red thing and so was I
  6. I got a call from one of my 161 drivers at about 1.30am with regard to this and - good old CentreComm - they knew nowt about it. I finished my night shift at 7am new year's day and was told the road didn't re-open until nearly midday.
  7. Thank you all - it was indeed. Unfortunately, I was stuck at work on a 12 hour night shift (which became 13 hrs with the clock change!). What a great way to celebrate, eh! Will be lagering it up on Monday instead

    Ecu Swap

I would suggest that the ECU will require a re-map after installation.
  13. can you not read, it says "COLIN MCRAE" lol
  14. My car seems to be self-destructing. I've gone to my car after work tonight to find a puddle underneath it. Where the fuel filler meets the fuel tank has corroded badly and is leaking. Typically, today was the day I filled the tank!! I've driven the car about to use up the fuel but now need to change the fuel tank. Has anybody got one for a 97 classic? Anybody know how easy they are to change? All help gratefully received!! Martin

  22. My car has sprung a leak at the front, about 18 inches from the centre to the offside. I believe its the rad, but haven't had a real good proper look at it yet to be 100% certain. It only leaks when the car gets hot (and it gets very hot as the water is p***ing out). So, assuming that's what I need, has anybody a decent radiator for sale? Alternatively, can anybody recommend somewhere to get one?
  23. Although sadly, it isn't! A year, maybe? I reckon fuel's gone up by about 25% in the last 12 months
  24. Don't you just love a good pair of breasticles! Although I'm in two minds whether these are a "good" pair or not...... as HairyDJ says - I dread to think what they'll do to her knees when she's older.....
