Do iiiitttttt...ddddddddooooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttt!!!
Next time we're on the washboard we won't have to worry about clunking! I think you'll be that bit more confident with the car when it has a tailor made setup.
If I could rewind to when I got the Eibach springs. That money could've gone towards this...especially at the
group buy price!
Before reading the BC webpage, I had the impression that ALL coilovers were too harsh for everyday use!
Mmm, just when I was looking at brakes as well!!!
-
Cheers again for the comments, Colin - been reading the link you sent and I'm WELL tempted!
Me too!!!
Not sure if this group buy is still on the go over on Snet?

PM me too! Is the meeting place the same?
I touch goats John
-
What is route 1 and route 2? Is it somewere different?
PM to you too Burgy
-
There is a couple of car parks just after (deleted to protect the modified) at the yacht club. As far as I know they are public and free.
That's great.....if we end up there. There are soooo many places to go.

Route 2 is fine,
Ice cream and chips, even finer!
A supermarket car park, come on tae fu**!!!
What!!!!?????
It had been mentioned last month as somewhere big enough. You have to pay for the main town car park.
There is somewhere big enough a mile or so out of town.....up a hill!
-
Don't know if this helps at all??
http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html
They recommend a maximum difference of 2.5% and that tyre size compared to a standard
215/40/17 gives 1.92%.
I'm sure someone else will know more than me!!!
-
I'm loving my Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric.
Good in the dry and wet.
Got them in 215/45/17.
-
I had popped in to get a bracket for an TMIC....turns out I didn't need it!!
I had the same issue with needing a VRM.
It was only afterwards that I wish I had just gone up to their forecourt and got a VRM from one of their
own cars!!!
-
route 2 good for me 2 and a pit stop for ice cream quality
kenny
Yeah, I know there were some reservations last month......maybe that was the problem with giving people an
option!!!!......but we can stop for ice cream/famous chips at the main place and park up in the
supermarket car park that was mentioned or the place just outside town?
If people still aren't too keen......step up and think of somewhere!!
-
I would've done it, but I've got to attend the Saltex Show in London next week with work.
Richie said he would do it...
Don't listen to him!!!
I'm not 100% either yet so can't commit.
For those of us that were there last month....we could just go for route option 2?
Make a decision now and so there's no pressure on anyone to do any drastic organising??
-
I was keen to get a remap with just some exhaust mods. Andy said I'd get a wee bit more but in the end
I waited til I got some other parts and did it all at once.
Definitely worth the wait!!!
-
Everyday's a schoolday!
-
So will yours Richie...........it's been proved you need them
There's no shame in being left standing by your machine!!! Do you know many other owners?
Saw one in Ayr last night with personal plate of Pro 2??
-
Good stuff Chris.
Good figures with the mods. I thought I could remember other 2.5 owners who changed
the turbo etc only came away with about 340bhp??
At least the next remap, after mods, will be cheaper!
-
Hi,
I got a Meercat sports cat fitted. It's a 100 cell job and there are no problems when it comes to MOT etc.
The Meercat one has a snakehead, wider mouth coming out the turbo for easier breathing.
I think it helped my turbo spool up a wee bit quicker.
The good thing is that you can get it done now without having to worry about a remap. Spread the cost etc.
I'm sure other places like C&C etc offer the same.

Hello and welcome.
Is this your first scooby or did someone point you in the direction of Hypertech?
Can't go wrong there.
Glasgow meets are the first Thurs of every month in Hillington.
Check out the Events section for this.
-
Hello and welcome
Cut up the credit cards!!!
If you say you don't know much about scoobies, have a wee read here.
-
Filled up recently and I though 108.9p was bad enough!!
-
Hello and welcome.
Where you from? Check the Events section for local meets
-
Was there ever talk about running the event against the VW's again?
We were unfortunate with the weather the last time.
-
Hello and welcome
Yeah, try and come along to the meet on Thurs. I think we might only have this month and next for a drive
before the nights get longer
-
Hi Brian,
Can't help with those particular tyres but thought I'd say hello and welcome to the club
as it's your first post
Don't be put off by the fact you haven't had replies yet, they'll come along
Whereabouts are you from and post up some pics of the car when you can.
You could also try the search facility on those tyres.
For what it's worth, I put on Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric tyres on my wagon and really like
them. Good in the dry and wet.
C'mon the wagons!!!!!

Sounds good although ..........
