  1. Some go to lengths such as plumbing dump valves in behind the wheel arch and all that to hide it from police but they're not daft.

The bit that pisses me off is that the police can serve you a defect notice for something like a straightcut PPG gearkit cause it's noisy....

One of the problems is that they serve you a defect notice, you go to their official checker upperer to get it checked (after fixing whatever they've defected you with), you pay them big bucks to get it checked, but if they find anything else untoward, they can tell you to get that fixed too, come back and pay the fee all over again to get it checked. Not worth the grief imo.

Can't remember the cost of having the vehicle checked and defect overturned but it ain't cheap from what i believe

Blimey!!! Makes us/our lot sound ok!!!! :):D

  2. Do iiiitttttt...ddddddddooooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttt!!!

Next time we're on the washboard we won't have to worry about clunking! I think you'll be that bit more confident with the car when it has a tailor made setup.

If I could rewind to when I got the Eibach springs. That money could've gone towards this...especially at the

    group buy price!

Before reading the BC webpage, I had the impression that ALL coilovers were too harsh for everyday use!

Mmm, just when I was looking at brakes as well!!!

  3. I had popped in to get a bracket for an TMIC....turns out I didn't need it!! :boldblue:

I had the same issue with needing a VRM.

It was only afterwards that I wish I had just gone up to their forecourt and got a VRM from one of their

    own cars!!!

  4. route 2 good for me 2 and a pit stop for ice cream quality :P

    kenny

Yeah, I know there were some reservations last month......maybe that was the problem with giving people an

option!!!!......but we can stop for ice cream/famous chips at the main place and park up in the

supermarket car park that was mentioned or the place just outside town?

If people still aren't too keen......step up and think of somewhere!! :P:boldblue:

  5. I would've done it, but I've got to attend the Saltex Show in London next week with work.

Richie said he would do it... B)

    :D:):D;)

    Don't listen to him!!!

I'm not 100% either yet so can't commit.

For those of us that were there last month....we could just go for route option 2?

Make a decision now and so there's no pressure on anyone to do any drastic organising??

  6. Hi,

I got a Meercat sports cat fitted. It's a 100 cell job and there are no problems when it comes to MOT etc.

The Meercat one has a snakehead, wider mouth coming out the turbo for easier breathing.

I think it helped my turbo spool up a wee bit quicker.

The good thing is that you can get it done now without having to worry about a remap. Spread the cost etc.

I'm sure other places like C&C etc offer the same.

  7. Hello and welcome.

Is this your first scooby or did someone point you in the direction of Hypertech?

    Can't go wrong there.

Glasgow meets are the first Thurs of every month in Hillington.

Check out the Events section for this.

  8. Hi Brian,

Can't help with those particular tyres but thought I'd say hello and welcome to the club

as it's your first post ;)

Don't be put off by the fact you haven't had replies yet, they'll come along :P

Whereabouts are you from and post up some pics of the car when you can.

You could also try the search facility on those tyres.

For what it's worth, I put on Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric tyres on my wagon and really like

them. Good in the dry and wet.

    C'mon the wagons!!!!!
