  1. nice pic. Any clues Graeme? Age? My initial thought was Robert (STI Pretender)???
  2. Hi mate, Is your car PPP? Might be worth doing a few other mods so that you get the most out of a remap. I was thinking about it but Andy Forrest told me that I wouldn't see big gains with the map alone. So, took my time and got a sportscat/decatted downpipe, decatted centre section. Didn't need a map at this point but the car felt a bit better. Then sourced 550cc injectors and bigger turbo before getting the map done. Got 334/335 with my 05 WRX wagon. Have a look here. Can't go wrong and it'll give you a 'checklist' http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/58901.html
  3. Unfortunately for me, the previous owner hadn't been interested in sealing/waxing the alloys so they were a bit pitted when I got them. Good answers so far for both options. Cheers
  4. Howdy folks, Gave the car it's first proper clean the other day and noticed that my alloys are pretty messy. They're the standard alloys on a MY05 car. Usually the Meguiars alloy cleaner works a treat but I think they're past it now. So.....as much as I'd like to get some Oz Ultraleggeras, I thought about the old powder coating from the likes of Chameleon etc. I've searched on here and know a lot of members have had it done so just wondered how the alloys are looking 1, 2 even 3 years down the line? I'm thinking that when the car comes out the factory, the alloys have been painted? Why don't we get our alloys repainted rather than powder coated? Cost? Have read good things about the likes of Chameleon but wanted to check. Thanks
  5. I thought the black looked the best, especially as I was getting the black front splitter. Think the stainless would've been too shiny for my colour.
  6. Very impressed with the grilles. Think they look great on a blob
  7. Hello and welcome C'mon the wagons!!! Get some pics up!!! Keep an eye on the events section for meets. Glasgow meet is at Hillington, first Thurs of every month. The Central meet is this Thurs and some of us are going through for that.
  8. Well, normally work there. Been away for a while but coming back soon.
  9. Ah....what car have you got? I'll look out for you
  10. I'm with the others about getting a runabout. I take the Scenic to work quite a bit and use that on days off as it's easier for the wee one. Certainly makes me appreciate the scoob more when I get back in it
  11. I think the snakehead was about £300 odd. It was a couple of years ago though. That was the downpipe, right down to the centre section with the sportscat. There should be someone along who's had it done more recently. As for any questions...PM me......and I'll ask someone else for you!!!!
  12. I'm another very happy Meercat customer. Got a sportscat/snakehead downpipe/centre section and uppipe put on during the last couple of years with no problems. No MOT issues with the sportscat.
  13. Hi, Just thought I'd add - Welcome to the forum Whereabouts are you? We have Gav aka Scoobyseller on here who works at Grieves in Falkirk. Even thought you don't have the car yet, you could pop along to your local meet to say hi and see some cars.
  14. Gutted for you Noel.
  15. Can't help mate but if no-one can make it to yours, remember the Glasgow meet is this Thurs in Hillington where there will be a few people to ask.
  16. (sorry to hijack) Don't know how much the Prodrive sets costs but you could look at Zunsport grilles. The also do the chrome.
  17. Yeah, I've used about 4 of mine. Don't think I've ever noticed any new or existing members come on here saying when/where they got the card though.
  18. Hello and welcome
  19. Looking good. The lower grille is a must
  20. My HT Autos has been fine so far. The front sits pretty low now I've got the coilovers fitted but didn't have any problems in the snow apart from it acting like a snow plough!!! It has been fitted with a few additional fixings though.
  21. Was that you staying up for Santa Merry Christmas everyone.
  22. Went down to Dumfries yesterday. Came home to find about 3 or 4 inches of untouched snow on my drive. It's great having a lowered car and the front splitter acts as a snow plough!!! Spent an hour or so clearing the drive and road outside. Never see a gritter round here!!! Oh....this was after driving up from Dumfries and realising I'd left my house keys down there!!!!
  23. Excellent. Good choice The graphite silver also look good. I've already said to The Boss.... "Ever thought of new alloys for the car?" Her..."Well, I can tell someone else has" Mmmm. well she didn't say no!!!!
  24. OZ for me. Like the blue as well. Looking at the Larkspeed website. Loving the matt black Ultraleggera. Mmmm...would matt black go with my wagon Might need a photoshop myself!!!
