  5. the sunbeam was a good car a uncle of mine had a old talbot samba that was a car with a mind of it,s own put the foot down and it would slow down he spent more time pushing that old banger lol

  9. the guy hasn,t go a leg to stand on there were 4 others giving statements i just wish someone on here had seen the state of that focus it was brand new aswell you could see the whole engine another lesson learned the hardway
  10. i,ve had the sti for 4 weeks but it,s just to heavy and yes it,s more tuneable but power to weight is a big must when buying a scoob for the track and i just got it wrong i,am keeping the sti for commuting but tracking down a p1 for the weekend cheers guys for the imput

  13. i spotted that one dunk but first things first i have to clear my old mo,s garage as i have the sti in mines but defo going back to a classic ( DONT BUY A NEWAGE STI ) you will regret it people i have
  14. duncan i was going to buy a p1 aswell but never went to view it much to my regret now steve witson used to own it aswell and gave it all the praise and i went against his advice i so wish i didn,t i have about 8 grand to play with at the moment so who nows
  15. i just sold a classic 2000 turbo with andy,f stage 1 on it and bough a newage sti but fo me the newage just aint cutting it for me so left with a headache sell the newage buy a classic and mod the a*** of it or mod the newage and live with it the problem is that newage sti,s are just to refined for me i love the raw power of the older scooby, or do i simply keep the newage for a daily runner and buy a classic any advice on were to go with this
  16. i never got the chance m8 i had to cut of at blackhill and drive back along the other side to cut off again and leave the car by he slip road when i got there a traffic car was on there it was a lady in the volvo she looked a bit shaken but fine as for the focus driver he was in the cop car idiot
  17. i hope the coppers throw the book at you ar$ehole driving to work last night about 8,30 and just about got to the cut of for the robroyston asda when out of nowhere this white focus st cuts me up and misses me by inches and cuts of only to run into the back of a volvo needless to say the focus was smashed so hard the front bumper was sitting just below the windscreen he must have passed me doing 130 easy the first time i,ve taken the car to work aswell i gave the coppers my statement and left am glad my 4 year old kid wasn,t in my car it could have been me

  20. what sort of torque levels can be achieved out of the two is there any difference as the car would just be mapped for v-power really i,am trying to justify the cost of the md321h rather than go for a (T) and 2.1 stroker kit but if need be then a 2.1 stroker with the md321t it will be

  24. just glad i could help you out m8 that,s what this forum is all about at least it should be i cant see you having a problem with the mot after fitting the cat as that was all i had to do with my classic but gone are those days lol; i am now enjoying the newage sti if you need anything else give me a shout
