You were lucky then mate, I know loads of people who have been strung up for messing around in cars on the airfield as it is MOD property even to this day.

I moved from Kirknewton to the Isle of Man 4 years ago. The Airfiled is not disused. There is an Air Training Corps gliding school who use it every weekend and have done so for many many years, there is also a small flying club who use it most days. Richie camp no longer exists, it was knocked down and cleared. The land now has £million+ luxury homes on it.

Morning Dudes Nearly the weekend again, thankfully I have this weekend off. Anyone got anything exciting planned?

Hi guys Now we are all settled in this lurvely new home and that we here in the Isle of Man now have our very own regional section and a meets section, I figured a suffle of the threads may be in order. I had posted up in the old forum about this and did not receive much of a response, but the comments I did receive seemed to support the creation of the regional section for all our general posts and banter. Andy has been kind enough to move all the threads from the meets section to in here, our new regional section. I have compiled a list of all the meets related threads, which Phil is going to be kind enough to move back for us. To do it this way seemed the easiest way of doing it and taking the least of everyones time as possible. So now we will have a dedicated meets sub section for meets/events & trackday info. Of course everything else can be found here in our new regional section. Thanks Dave

another little update finally got the correct Power Intake although the brackets supplied with it did not fit at all, so had to reshape them to suit. One could do with shortening but it is holding secure for now. Got the splitter back on, took a bit of trimming to get it to match up with the bumper but got it mounted nice and tight, probably better fitted now than it was before. Oh yeah and changed the grill, it was silver when I got it so spayed it black. The jury is still out on wether I should leave it black or paint some of it red. Also changed the steering wheel and gear knob for STi red stitched items

10 out of 10 for trying John but you got to be quick round here you know, I have had many of Andrews cast offs from this car. Good luck with the sale mate, I am sure it will go to a good home and be well looked after. Would be nice to see it stay on the Island though.
