Hi Jon, Welcome for tomorrow [] Have you been here before? If not, I guarentee you will love it. I have been here a little over 4 years now and like Graeme have not looked back. There are places here you will be able to pick up a laptop, maybe not quite as cheap as say PC World but worth a look. You could always buy online and have it delivered to you here on the Island. I would be up for a meet pretty much anytime, any excuse for a mountain blast. Just post up once your here and settled and we will get something organised. Hope the boat is not too bumpy

DUDES !!!! How goes it Manxies? You have all been very quiet lately, feel like I am the only one here. My new brakes arrived yesterday and they look mahooosive, except their not really, well they are, that is compared to what is on my Scoob just now LOL. So desperate to get them on, all I can say is roll on next pay day (no money left this month [:'(] ) and it will be a set of lurvely Goodridge hoses and some pads. We are now at the end of Wednesday so only a couple of days left til the big pour, just hope the rain holds off just long enough for us to get the concrete down without getting totally soaked but for those coming to help out Saturday remember to bring waterproofs or a change of clothes just in case.

Anyone heard anything about the Scooby involved in an accident on the mountain yesterday morning? One of my friends drove past it on her way to Douglas and said the Subaru was up the bank, supposedly it also involved a some little car like a Panda or summat Not sure how bad the damage was to either car, hope all parties involved were not injured

I have taken the heart wrenching decision to sell my freshly refurbed Speedlines instead of running with spacers once my new brakes are fitted. These wheels have been on my Scoob not even 2 weeks. They are fitted with 215/45/17 KUMHO KU31 ECSTA SPORT tyres of which, one is brand new and the remaining 3 have loads of tread on them. These will fit all Imprezas with a 5x100 PCD and (as I have now found out) will only clear Subaru 4 pot brakes with 5mm spacers. Any questions just ask. Only hoping to make my money back on them there for looking for £350

You sound like you have done this before, the father in law has pretty much been project manager and from what I gather has everything in hand. I dont think i am too fussy on the finish, as long as we can spread it out and it is flat then I am cool with it. Was told to ask for extra sand in the mix. Will get some large sheets of ply from somewhere. What the hell is visqueen? is that an attachment for the vibrator? LOL We are having 3 cubic meters delivered Friday and the same again on the Saturday, it will be about 3" - 4" thick. By 'vibrator' do you mean one of these whacker plates? if so I can get one of them no problem and dont need to hire it (not hiring the digger either). If those who are coming on saturday want to arrive about half eight then there should be time for a tea break before we get started []
