The police up here have been going crazy lately stopping motorists left right and center and there stopping people for very poor reasons eg sir you look a bit young to be driving a car like this (a 2002 Astra SRI)the guy is 23. Today was my turn the followed me for ages before they pulled me and the first thing they said was sir your exhaust is very loud and he asked me to rev the car i mean its a god damn Prodrive back box i have so any hoo it turned out it was not as loud as he thought so the next excuse was my number plate which is very easy to read i have to say but even so i now have to change it they told me they spotted me days ago but have only managed to stop me today . My friend bought a Scoob 2 weeks ago and whilst doing nothing wrong has been stopped 4 times since for numerous reasons. 3 Weeks ago my fiancé was stopped they followed her for around 8 miles in to the country in the dark sitting very close to her and they then flashed her with the head lights numerous times to get her to pull over but she wouldn't till they put the blues on they then quizzed her as to why she never pulled over sooner i mean what young lass in the right mind would pull over for some one flashing there lights Idiots. Meanwhile in Kirkwall there is alot of vandalisim 's going on cars being damaged and so on and they cant work out why all this is going on idiots !!! Urgh anyway my little rant is over am just getting fed up with this police state we have up here. A little fact for you there is more Police officers per head in Orkney than there is in London, Birmingham, Glasgow or most other big city's how crap is that

The handbrake on a subaru works just the same way as a normal car with drums as the handbrake is inside the disk/hub part so if you take your wheel off and give it a couple of fairly hard hits with a hammer is should free it but be carefull not to hit a wheel stud or the disk its self as you can cause damage to them hpoe this helps

Ah well i wont be buying that sport i phoned the guy and told him i pretty much wanted the car and i would get sorted to come and collect it but he had to come off the phone due to an important Family call so he said he would phone back which he diddnt but i recived an e-mail later on saying that a guy had phoned half an hour after i did and bought the car so i was a bit bummed with this was looking forward to a road trip . Hi guys was looking at a Sport for a second car and was wondering if somone could point me in the correct direction as far as fuel economy and relyability . What i need is somthing with a bit of room a little bit of ooomph and somthing that can tow Auto test cars but still be sure footed on icy roads and not fall appart . Does a Sport fit this bill ??

Anyone watch the onboard clip of Colin in the 2001 RAC . I never thought Fords were that fast but JESUS he really is flying and when you see him doing speeds like that its not really that suprising that he did have the odd misshap i mean you dont see that kind of commitment nowadays not even from Loab Colin in my mind is the best rally driver of all time and on the right day with the right car he was unstoppable
