  1. Colin did say for Subaru, but give him a call and see what he says. If you don’t ask! I’m sure he’ll sort you out. Derek
  2. Managed to secure this deal for SIDC members. Colin the Manager is a friend, and after a lot of gentle persuasion, he has agreed to give us the 15% discount for tyres for Subaru. They are very careful when fitting and have just invested in a new machine to fit the 20" rims of the GTR. Simply quote the SIDC when you call (before giving tyre sizes) and the discount is yours. Hays Of Penicuik 01968 672947 128 John Street, Penicuik, EH26 8NG Hope this helps save a few pounds. Derek Not sure if this is the correct area for this, so admin please feel free to move.
  3. Reminds me of Wilkos car at Dastek – they had to strap it through the centre of the car – car just wanted to go!! Derek

  5. Don’t know about Dalkeith, but Pentland Precision Engineering in Loanhead are meant to be good – Nobles send their work there. Derek
  6. Car looks very nice Neil – and yet again more fantastic pics! Derek
  7. Fantastic pics as always Neil! Love the pic above, can actually see the tyre melting!!! Derek
  8. Does anyone know of a good engineering shop who is able to do this. AP discs are getting a bit rough and could just do with a little skim. Thanks Derek
  9. Looks absolutely stunning!! Have seen the 3 parked outside Nobles and I know 1 is a demonstrator – must put my name down for that! Were you the lucky 7.29 owner yesterday morning? Hope it’s all you wanted and more! Derek
  10. Think it looks stunning! Hope you like it as much in the flesh – if not just cover it in clear matt film, will kill the glimmers. Will be some machine when completed, seams fantastic at the moment. All the best with this one! Derek
  11. Think it looks stunning! Hope you are well happy Chris. Must get a set of those headlights for mine – take it they are the HID versions, judging by the PIAA Logos behind the grill. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh, or when the SICC boys get their lenses on it – no offence to your pics! Derek
  12. Looks fantastic and car looks well nice! Heading up to Morenish in a couple of weeks for a holiday with the outlaws – 18 of us in all. Trying to persuade the good lady to take both cars – too many good roads not to take advantage of – the S-max isn’t quite the same. Her worry is she will never see me or the kids and have to cook her own meals. Derek
  13. Chris, You must have been gutted – I certainly am! Apart from that how was it looking? Must be the mutts!!! Hope it is all sorted before you head back. Derek
  14. The thing with life is everyone has different tastes, views and opinions on everything – which is how it should be. You like what you like and that’s it. Geo – the shots are not my cup of tea as too much work has been done on them in Photoshop (the car looks fantastic without it) but they do not offend either (and it’s the results you wanted. Photoshop is a great tool and so much can be done to enhance and manipulate shots. Higgy doesn’t like it, but it can even help bring out the detail in his pics. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder! Derek
  15. Fantastic write up Graham and car is looking sweet! Also due Geo a huge THANK YOU for the work he has just done on my RB. Took it up last Friday for service and also to find out what the front end knocking was – ball joints, droplinks and various other bits all shot. All replaced and Geo even took the rear bar off his own track car to replace mine – 10 years of Scottish winters had taken there toll on the original. So now the car feels fantastic and stiffer that ever – Whiteline just seams to be Viagra for cars. Geo all you efforts and much appreciated – I know it was a barsteward of a job! Thanks Derek
  16. Certainly different Grant but i’d expect nothing less! Must admit a huge smile came to me face when I thought about what me wee bruv would have thought – in fact i’m shure I can here him laughing now, but in a very good way and certainly wanting to be manhandled into it. Hope the smile never leaves your face and enjoy every moment. Life’s too short. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh – i’ll even put on the shades. Derek
  17. Car is looking stunning! Would love to see the front mount in black. Derek
  18. Devastated for you Jim! Glad all involved are ok. Must have been one of the worst things ever to watch, unable to do anything after all the time and effort that went into the bomber. Sad end to a fantastic machine. So sorry to read and see. Derek
  19. Fantastic result and a huge well done to everyone involved! And an overwhelming thanks to the 3 Amigos – without your dedication this would never have happened. Hope you are as proud of yourselves as we are of you. Derek
  20. Chris, Looking forward to seeing the car in full wide arch mode – always fancied the same on the RB5. Who is doing it and is it a metal kit, fibreglass or full carbon fibre? Take it you are keeping it white. Derek
  21. Front end – i think i like! The rest – what the phuq – looks like an armoured car. What are they trying to do. Derek
  22. Fantastic news! Bet it feels good to be back behind the wheel. Are you going to the big meet on Sunday? I’m hoping to get, but it depends where the wee fella is playing footy and what time. Glad your back Derek
