cool,you were right about the reg.plate craig...spot on.

i'll throw a spanner in the works here then....99% of my pics are taken in "aperture priority" usually between f8-f10,i find it gives a bit of depth of field which you dont get on S/P ,i adjust accordingly to exposure as i go along .It means of course a bit of adjustments depending if a car is coming towards you or away from you,and panning can be a bit tricky sometimes ,but hay,ho! each to their own as they say, so if you get used to shooting a certain way ,and it works then stick with it.
