Its been advised to get front and back discs skimmed and all pads replaced, can someone reccomend where to get pads. Think i will just skim the discs myself at work unless i see new ones for a good price.

Well me and my workmate had an attempt at weekend. 1st thing to go wrong was some of the backing paper decided to stay on the sticky side of the sunstrip so we could not use that. Tried taking most of it off with our fingernails but would have been there forever. So i decided to just have the lettering and swooshes on the window. All went on fine, used a light mist then dried with low heat of the hairdryer. Coming to work tonight in the rain put my wipers on and off came 1 star [] , next sweep of wipers oops there goes an "s" [:@] next sweep takes away the "u" and a couple more stars [8o|]. Have given up now with the sunstrip so will have to think of something else for the front end of my car.

Can't believe you got rid of it gus, hope you don't end up regretting it. Good luck with the classic you get.

i have an sti8 and went to garage yest to put water in my washer bottle and somebody was using the car wash 20 yards away, he had an sti8 also and just looked at me with a strange look. Was gonna go over and speak but not after the way he looked at me. I wave to all subaru's, most of the time i get a wave back but sometimes they just give me a wierd look. maybe it's because they think "whats a young guy like that driving a car like that" i don't know
