Got me new spoiler (supplied and fitted by Gus) today and I just love it. Strut braces now on order .. As mentioned before in this thread, its not about getting there quicker, the copper trying to get to his work on time should have awakened sooner. Man (Humans) are lazy animals. Using a fast vehicle is going to get you in front of 2, maybe 3 cars. I think that makes it 2 minutes gain on a 30 minute run for work. (is that so crtical). Naw, the point I made was that the Missus and the wee bairn were all at risk due to a selfish egotistical B*********d who just HAD to get in front. Jen, (Fab1) came in tonight to tell me that there was a black ' R ' reg scoob dangerously close to her back bumper. Jen was pushing on to 40 from 30 trying to get clear of this guy but he was still at her bumper giving it big dump valve sounds. Sorry for posting here - well really I am not, but my view (having a young family) is that any powerfull car, not even powerfull, ones, are killing machines. Cat and mouse is playing dodgems with other peoples lives. I think a lot get away with this game, but it eventually ends up in death.

Not this Alan-G Frank. (confusion city here) Got MY06 about 5 months ago and didn't take her over 3500 rpm for the 1st 3000k (Jail sentence really) or torture, whatever you want to call it. I will not buy another car again unless Subaru go out of business. Un-modded, straight out the box, quite unbelievable. Best decision yet. Superb motor car.

Not good news at all. I remember talking to Gus les Autobus about when these guys nicked your spoiler and to be honest, we both couldn't see how it could get ripped off without crowbars and major damage. I don't really see a connection between the guys that stole yer spoiler and this mob that tried to nick yer motor m8. Yer saying they tried to nick yer mates Peugeot as well ? Sure it's the same mob? Sounds more like a different set of Bartewards to me - but that's exactly what they are. The lot of them. Cars these days are practically unstealable to the local neds, but in the case of the poor s0d from Paisley who got his scooby nicked by one of thay Glesga type Giant metal traffic warden low loaders - " lift the car cos its illegally parked, stick it on the back of the wagon,take it to the pound, and hoover 185 nicker from his wallet to get it back, cos it's a Sunday and I'm on double time !
