Even cheaper now for an 07 2.5 WRX (£14,847 basic price). On the road, add £350 (includes tax and in my case, a TOAD alarm). Superb Motor Car. http://www.motordepot.co.uk/search_results...w.asp?sid=73953

Heres my pictures of the Central area santa cruise [] Wrong Falkirking Co-op Car Park [] Paul gave me the Post code and I asked in at the Co-op what the post code was and she said FK2 8EE. I thought that maybe a typo by the lassie in the Co-op 'cos Paul gave me it as FK2 8EB. By 10.15 came and went, I went for a ganders around the co-op to find a massive one ¼ of a mile up the road. [:$] And by the time I found it the guys were gone. Had me present in the Scoob an aw ! [:'(] Next time, Mobile phones at the ready. Alan.

Sending you a PM Paul. -
Whats the discount Grant if we join up (family membership discount taht is!) ? Merry and Safe Christmas to you all. Me, Jen (Fab1) and wee Hollie.

Sorry guys, but I have to post. I must sound like the biggest pain in the T!ts that has recently joined. So, sorry for starters. I know very little about Scoobies as I've only been a Scoobie driver for about 3 months now. I will drive nothing else than a Subaru in the future, my wife Jen (Fab1 on the site) wants a forrester NTXi and who could blame her ? My WRX was delivered to the house from England, Brand new, on the back of a wagon, and they took the Feckin' 18 month old Peugeot 307 pile of dog dirt away as a trade in without seeing it. (13K on the clock and falling apart). I didn't want me missus and bairn running about in , what only I can call after driving it's last mile whilst in our posession, a dangerous car. She took my recently bought Hyundai Coupe and I ordered the WRX. I have never been so stunned by a Japanes saloon car ever (having owned a Toyota Celica which I loved). Now down to the post. I know a lot of mods have been done on the MY02 WRX that is for sale for £12½ K - But mine came as a brand new car, me being the first owner, YES a grey import and not a 'TYPE UK' version, but still the full Bhoona WRX for : £14,999 That's a bargain that I could never overlook. Sorry again for being a Pain in the ar$e but I could not pass a price/car ratio like this. It made pure sense to me.

If your working underneath cars, beforehand, go to your local house building estate (there all around you if you haven't noticed) and ask one of the workers for a few 'Thermalite' blocks. This is the stuff that replaced breezeblock and is as light as a feather. A couple of these blocks in the right place will stop a car landing on a mechanic. Feck the chassis if it does fall, the thermalite will definately stand up to the weight of a car. Just a thought.

I'll be there Paul, unfortunately Fab1 (the missus) has tonsilitis and wont be attending but I got a toy for the Santa Cruise so I'll see you tomorrow - navigation permitted. My Geography is about as useful as a chocolate Teapot [:$] But c'mon guys, the more the noisier. []

Or do the test at Knockers ..

Nice colour and a VERY nicely Monoblocked driveway [] Wonder why I said "nice colour" ?! []

Hi there, Welcome aboard. I'm pretty new here too, sound bunch of folks on here.
-
Well, it was on the radio again but was a bit vague. Apparantly he was speeding through an accident blackspot, in uniform ,carrying out a "risk assessment". No mention if he was in a meat wagon or Blue lights.
-
Wasn't included in the 1.00pm Bulletin so I'll have a look around the 'net for details.
-
Not sure St3ph3n but, it'll be on the 1.00pm news. I remember an ambulance driver speeding on a 999 call. He got charged too but I don't have a problem with 999 calls speeding.
-
Just heard on the radio that the chief police driving instructor was caught by a mobile speed camera at 118 mph ! I kinda thought that type of thing would have been conveniently swept under the carpet but fair cop, he's been charged. I suppose this shows that there isn't one rule for one - and another rule for t'uther. Shade embarrassing for the Rozzers though [:$]

Me Missus Jen, (Fab1 on the site) gave me some dreadfull news today. Her pal at Uni's sister's Fiance met with a tragic accident on Sunday past. He had a workshop/garage and worked from home. After jacking a clients car up to do a repair to the chassis - something gave way and the car landed on him and he died. Please be so carefull if you are working underneath your car, a pile of bricks underneath the car or anything robust that is under the car an inch away from the underbody could save your life. Jen was trully upset at her pals sisters loss (engaged for 9 years- thankfully no kids) but I know this is bad enough at this time of year, she has to now look at the presents that he bought her for Christmas underneath the tree. [] Take good care of you and yours over the Festive period. Alan+ the girls.

Good point st3ph3n and Peter. However, without being negative here, how many car mags blank out number plates. The reason I say this is, that blanking out plates makes you look like your hiding something. That would get the potential theives up on their high horses and go looking for the particular car if they want to nick it. A somewhat challenge to make them think they are really high up in the Chav brigade if they actually found the car with the blank number plate. Their buddies would pat them on the back, burn it out, and send the pic to the mag that once pictured it. Again, I dont want to be perceived as negative here, but on a public forum or not, the public road can see my number plate litterally in public. so I don't see the point in hiding plates. Probably talking cack again guys, sorry. []

Is there any Rozzer forums that we can look at for us to make judgements of Rozzers in General, Lol. Seriously though It's good to hear Scooby Doom that your on here and like what you see. The two coppers that approached us at the Glasgow Santa Cruise were true gents I must say. []
