  1. If your phone is not hands free then I agree it should not be used when driving for obvious reasons.
  2. Looking good mate. :waving-santa:
  3. Never knew that. Another member privilege. :waving-santa:
  4. Click on 'My Controls' then 'Edit Avatar Settings' then 'Browse' browse your pics, pic one then click 'Update Avatar'. Hope this helps.
  5. Upload your pics to something like www.photobucket.com then copy and paste the 'img' tag of the pic you want us to see. :waving-santa:
  6. If I was buying used it would have to be standard but thats just me mate. A standard P1 is excellent as it is, mine had the Prodrive 18s, P1 exhaust and Alcon brakes on it. A front mount is a serious upgrade and I would be wanting to see lots of receipts for the work done, remapping etc. I've heard that the MAF and the oil pump were common problems causing the rebuilds. I know of one P1 that had a rebuild and they never changed the oil pump and the engine blew again! If everything has been done by a reputable company and there is catalogue of history for it then all should be well. Its a buyers market at the moment so look at a few if you can.
  7. Have a look at drcolorchip.com before you go to any of the quick fix places.
  8. Check if its had a gearbox or engine change, if so history/documents would be good. As said front splitter gets stone chipped badly and scraped underneath easily. I would try and avoid modded ones. Also insurance is very high for a P1 (it was a major difference between the P1 and a PPP STI for myself). Good luck but take your time deciding.
  9. Hello and welcome mate.
  10. Try japanparts.com On the menu do a search for Subaru, make, model, year and STI parts and you will get the full STI catalogue.
  11. It looks better in the metal, trust me.
  12. Like they wheels alot, they suit your car well.
  13. I saw the same wheels on the demo at the dealers and I thought they looked great and suited the car perfect. The 2 things that let the car down cosmetically (unless you hate the new look completely!) are the rear lights, for obvious reasons, and the mirrors are far too big.
  14. Always loved the write ups and photography from the EVO guys and this issue makes no exception. The pictures are superb and the 22B looks amazing, all credit to its owner/s. I really like the look of the 330S and would consider one if the part exchange on my Impreza wasn't such a joke (been browsing Parkers Guide). I trust EVOs opinion on cars and to be honest would buy a car on the strength of their reports. The last paragraph sums it up though ......I reckon some of the £4500 premium over the STI would have been better spent with Prodrive honing the chassis rather than on new tailpipes, keyless go and bloody satnav. Enough said. If you are going to build a drivers car then build one. £31K for a 330S, I would rather buy a Audi S3 and have change in my pocket.
  15. Hello and welcome mate. That exhaust is massive, bet the neighbours love you! Enjoy.
  16. I've heard lots of good reports on the Dodo Range. Is the SN version 1 or 2? Lets us know the kind of protection it gives over the winter months.
  17. Very nice indeed mate. Watch you don't damage your wheels as they are quite expensive to replace.
  18. Great work as usual Mike. Didn't know you had a rotary as well as the G220, now thats a skill. As said valeting is completely different to detailing and when you are detailing someone else's car as a 'hobby' you need the same dedication as you would for your own pride and joy. Your car looks mint Craig. The marzipan smell is great (I use the same product as Mike) although it always makes me feel hungry!
  19. You have 2 options. Mask the swirls or remove them. For masking AG SRP is apparently the best, for removal the only real option is a machine polisher with a specific pad/polish combo.
  20. Splitter looks great. IMO the best looking lights for the bugeye are the smoked STI ones.
  21. Hello and welcome mate. Your WR1 looks mint. Enjoy.
  22. Hello and welcome mate. Sorry I can't help.
  23. Very nice indeed mate. Enjoy.
  24. Pull up from the top of the clock and it will pop out no probs. No need to take your centre console apart at all. As said don't prise up with a screwdriver or knife as the plastic will mark.
  25. I'd be gutted if that was my M3. Hope they caught the bad guys!
