Dedication, nice one oobster.

OK so if you had a full decat, then on say thursday you put a cat on it for a MOT and it passed, then on friday you took the cat back off and saturday you crashed then surely a lot of questions are going to be asked of you and your 'friendly' MOT tester.

Stevie, apart from the engine is the rest of the car mint? Is it standard or had PPP? My mate sold a mint and I mean mint (only covered 10k miles!!!) RB5 for nearly £12k a year and a half ago. I prefer special editions to be standard or Subaru/Prodrive mods only IMO. Its a buyers market at the moment. Check here for more info mate.

Newage PPP use the standard paper filters as Prodrive found no significant gains using others.

How many pre 93 Scoobs are they about now? Without trying to upset anyone here - I'm with JW on this one. I know alot of you guys are into big power and fair play to you, but IMO I would rather run around in a 300 BHP PPP STI which is legal than worry about getting pulled or searching for 'friendly' MOT testers. Now just for talking sake, if someone with a full decat post 93 car crashes into another vehicle and both cars are written off and the police/insurers find that the car was not legal because of the exhaust what happens then? Are you then classed as not road worthy so therefore you are not insured? Just curious. As for pops and bangs, they sound good but if its used every day it could become a chore. Only my opinions.

My car is booked into PB on Monday, unfortunately they are fully booked for the rest of the year! Mike, I'm speechless. Not only does it look impressive, I realise the cost involved. If I knew you had a depth gauge on order my car would be with you! -
You have said its a replica but would it be them the same size/shape as the original, if so maybe try the dealers mate.

No need for all the cloak and dagger then.

If the car is not legal then it should not pass an MOT! Friendly tester or not.

Looking good mate.

Its expensive but the SIDC discount softens it a tad.

If you are declaring mods etc. it becomes tricky, I realise KM specialises in this sort of thing but I've always found Direct Line, Admiral and Privilege to be OK. I'm 35 and my PPP is taken as standard and declare my PFF7s as optional extras. I'm with Elephant just now but will not be renewing as they are like a budget airline as they keep adding extras on once you have paid the initial cover. The increase will no doubt be to pay for some poor guy in Cornwall whose car got washed away in a flood!!!!!!!!

Well the wallet is lighter but my car feels brand new again. With the car coming up for 3 years old (but only covering 17k miles) I wanted to make sure it had a thorough going over before the warranty ran out. I got the 2 rear shocks done and the mechanic took the time to talk to me and reassure me the car was fine and well looked after. Its things like that that make me go back to Grieves time and time again. I honestly think their customer service is second to none.

Went to the stadium stage when I was down in 2005, to be honest I felt it was a bit of a hit or a miss. Your miles away from the cars but the sound is great as they close the roof over 90%. Its as you can imagine very small for a stage, I preferred the stage down at Cardiff docks the year before.
-
Nice one Mike. I would agree that seeing them in the metal is totally different from pictures. I don't care what anyone says there is no better feeling than owning a brand new car (3 out of 4 of my Scoobs have been brand new), and I'm sure you and the good lady will keep it mint. I've never saw a black one but the dark grey demo I test drove looked great. Enjoy the experience, I'm not jealous at all!

Hello and welcome mate.

Cracking pics guys. Liking the CSL.
-
Dare I say I prefer the Hatchback to the Saloon.
-
Cracking paint fleck, looks stunning Colin. Well worth all the effort.

If you have changed the the diff settings this is normal. If its in auto then it should NOT clunk. To stop the clunking noise change it back to auto.
-
Check if the diff lock is in auto. It will always go back to auto when you switch off the ignition but if you have manually changed the setting the diff will clunk in slow tight manoeuvring.
