Hey folks just thought i would keep you updated with what's happening with the car for the peeps that did not know i was planning to do the 2.5 conversion on my classic STI. The Good news it the battle has begun,the car was picked up today by SW motorsport by Stevie his self ..im due back in June to the UK so the car will be ready for then he did inform me it was a tight scheudle however he will have it done he will have to break the car in for me.. with the 1500 miles i think. then unleash the beast. And getting it booked in with Mr A Forrest for his magic. After a long chat with him i think im going to be happy with the result's with big BHP and Touque so hopefully give those evos a run for there money.. Also fitting some nice extra goodies to it some nice 6 pot's, will hopefully get pics of Stevie so i can post for you all too see of the build so will post them when i get them just looking forward to driving it again,after driving 5 Ton B6 Armoured Land cruisers all over the desert.. Then Bring on Crail hopefully will get a better time than my first attemp at crail ermmmm 24/06/2007 ID 11 - Run 235 - Time 12.970 that was my fastest Run hopefully another few or extra horses will help me beat that lol..oh and a better launch aswell it was pants to be honest and maby some 1 else driving ha ha. The answer to Peter's question ? is hopefully the car will be ready for me in June when i return from Iraq 5 weeks i was told JW said it is a tight sheuduele as there is alot of work to be done luckly i have done most of the mods prior to the 2.5 block or 5 weeks could of been more. So fingers cross then Crail for some scalps.... EVOS I hope

Cheers Derek not too sure was urs the silver New shape getting the 2.5 done if it was what a machine mate Gerry took me out in it.. ye the lad that tried to do the gear box had not much knowledge in fitting the straight cut and fecked the gear ratio up. So had to get Stevie Whitson in to sort it with all new part once again thanks to Daztek. Cheers Gerry.. That Higgys car is some machine..exellent results he has acheived 1 up for the scoobys

Hi mate i just bought Yokahamas Parada spec 2 on 215/35/18s on Oz super T just been on the car for 2 weeks and to be honest they are the best tyre i have had on my car and i have had Toyos befoe im a yokahama fan also so might be a bit biest...Toyos are great tyers also I got mines from Skidz in falkirk for a good price give them a bell if your interested..

Hope you get it sorted mate try and fone Dastek in dalgety bay mate they might have a gear box there ....its a stab in the dark Tel no..0845 345 4045 just said Chris with the white Sti thought you might have one...

PPG Steel fork kit PPG 1st to 4th straight cut Gasket Set 4th gear syncro and any other bits i have missed Up graded the read diff i beleive out an sti ver 5 and the other parts to go with it 4 grand that's without labour. Not too sure of exact price unless i check the receipts however the gear box is good for 700 bhp and sounds amazing..and fitted the exeddy twin plate clutch thats not included in the price. Hope that helps

Lol ye oh i forgot the minor detail lol never mentioned about the weekend away in a health spar with a friend ..

As you may be aware i was selling my baby, due to garage space and only being able to drive the car 3 months a year...and a second child on the way.. Things changed dramaticly over the last month, I left the long haired Genral in charge of selling the car (The Wife) a certain Gentleman came all the way up from Norwich to view the car on intension of buying it. My wife and brother in law showed him around the car and showed him all documentation ect and then the test drive....once he returned to the house he said he i will take it he started counting out the cash as my wife was telling me this 'I felt a bit sick' sad i know.... 'Amie then said' i couldnt do it she told the man that she could not sell the car he said PARDON 'Amie said' I cant sell my husbands car im so sorry for the inconvience this has caused you and offered him his travell expences for him and his friend which he kindly accepted and gave him a 10 pound for a pint....to be honest with the way she spoke the lad understood which was a good feeling. I could not believe it i thought to my self ya beuty lol need to get her pregnant more often if this is how the Hormones are working.. On a long conversation with her on the fone i then convinced her on the next stage and granted my wishes,I Spoke to Andy F on the conversion and he put me in touch with a guy Steve Whitson i spoke to him on the next step up and the 2.5 conversion I know this lad was good and knew his onions as he put the PPG Straight cut box in my car. So finally after nearly selling my car i have now ended up with the final phase to be completed. So in the next couple of weeks the car will be off the road for the goodies to be installed and after that unleash hell lol Good things happen to those who waits. Chris

Well folks the wife went and picked up my car from Steve walkers body shop once again.. had a couple off changes to the look off the car have changed the grill,badge and the bonnet vents and he replaced the splash guard on my drivers side for much cheepness so thanks Steve Walker well recommended...in bathgate iff any one is interested..have contact detail ect.. Shame about the weather in Livingston just now my wife said it was raining as you can tell by the dullness off the pics so do appologise for the quality she does try lol hope she doesnt read this. Home on Saturday so time for the car to get a wee run i guess..,. Have posted the Pics in my members Album let me know what you think... Hi folk's just enquiring to see where the best or the nearest to Livingston to have my car undersealed. Before the roads start getting gritted iff they have not started yet... as i would not know as the weather in Iraq is redders.. Also was wondering how much this normally cost ? its for a Classic... Home in a Week its in the garage again for a few Modifications got Andy F in 2 weeks . Also Changing the bonnet vents and the grill with newer style ones mesh in the grill ,scoop vents all sprayed in white.... not seen what it look like yet left my wife to sort it out fingers crossed its ok lol. Your helps much appreciated Chris.

It's good to be diffrent, however my friend, it looks naked without the spoiler tho Again it's you car do want you want with it, as long as your happy not keen on the bonnet vents loving the white classic tho best colour
