Just an up date and some photos. Motor's built just waiting for oil pump to arrive. Just about to put sump on and assemble manifolds and turbo,then it's time to drop it in and plumb it up i mean Stevie is lol . Should be ready to fire it up early next week. Brakes are ordered and should be here sometime next week..... Regards will update when recieve more ......................

Ermmm long story at Dastek.. no just been promoted in my job so looks like im in the middle east for another extra 3 weeks im affraid gutted,and to be honest was toiling to get booked in with Andy F in June.. so it worked out better for me,and some of the extra mods im getting done would of not being done for June so July it will be cant wait to release some of its anger lol.... Your car should be nearly finished now or should i say this stage it's never finished?? what power will you be looking at it now.. its looking sharp... Ye the build i coming along on sheudule however there is alot of other goodies i want to be modded, and the time frame i have have for june, has now been put forward to July just in time for Knockhill and crail thrash...need to run the engine in for at least 500 miles to bed it in then take the manafold off to change the set up also changing the set up on the position of the turbo and cutting the pipe down for the front mount as small as i can get....also having everything painted to have the engine bay looking pristine block cam covers ect....oh and waiting for the 6-pots to arrive.. I dont want to rush Steve as i want it done right .. Regards Chris

Well folks just a small update ,Short block assembled, porting heads and combustion chambers taken to 50cc as required. Photo's on their way !! I can see my grin getter bigger each week i get an update ..

Well that's not good news at all well ,go for it the 2.5 with uprated internals you know you want too ... Hope you sort it out soon.. Chris

Well glad to hear proggresion is coming along rather sweetly engine is out,and things are shaping up nicely so far fingers crossed.... block is orderd just waiting to arrive with the forged goodies to go inside it so looking forward to it now, i can see pics off what happening cant wait to get back to the UK oh and Stevie must have some patience with all the questions and demands lol .....

I have Oz Super T 215/35/18 with Parada Spec 2 on mines with the green Tien and all the whitline goodies and the handeling is exellent however the wheels offset is for the Classic ... so cant really answer about the offset.. if that helps..dont get any rubbing at all.. Chris

The set up wont be changing just some extra horses to help push me a bit faster.. the handling of the car is all set at stealth mode with the help of all whitline goodies already ..and the geomatry Probs will run some Pax laps 2 as dont think my son want's to come along he likes going in a straight line but the twisties is another conversation lol hope to see you there. Cool 500 bhp big power.finacialy ye it is big bucks mate i cringe when i look at the receipts, have to hide the receipts from my wife.Ye i am running the MD312t just rite what im looking for.Looking at possible twissted turbo set up after this we will see,what the results are after this phase if im happy with the Stats then.Who know's If you are looking for any advise i know the man to ask..give me a shout.. Thats correct mate, the way ahead unless you want to go through gear boxes if you do the 2.5..there is probs other ways of doing it, this was the opinion of most people..and a good clutch also.
