  1. Cheers mate, Were abouts in Kirky and how much does he charge?

    stevie's address is

    37a eastside, kirkintilloch, g66 1qa. 0141 776 1919.

chances are he won't charge if he is fixing the fault for you,if not probably £20.

    he's a good guy

  2. Agree with the Big Chap

I drive a shed load of miles in a hunk of junk 90hp Diesel Sprinter, jumping into the other 4WD Banana then i realize why i love these cars and that reason is they have a soul. Going from the ****heap Sprinter to the Banana it feels like the Banana has about 10000hp and 190000rpm redline

    Dont do it

as you know john i've had 3 scoobs now,the first as an every day 18000 miles a year car and the other 2 as 2nd cars(toys).when they're driven every day you get so used to them that you always want to up the ante so to speak but as grant says when you spend your days driving diesels etc when you jump in the scoob for a blast it feels like your roger ramjet!bide your time and see if you can get the cash together for a runaround for work mate its the way forward.

  3. Had the scooby on the rolling road today.

Went to extreme motorsport and its the best rolling road I have been to out of all the scottish ones.

They give you two runs on the rollers and and lots of advice on your car. You also get to see the boost you are running and AFR.

Mines peaks about 1.5 bar and drops down later up the range

Got a decent enough 347bhp and 325 lb/ft and plenty of flames.

i take it the car has been re-mapped,if so torque looks well down on what would be expected on

a twin scroll car,did he give any indication on reason?

  4. Yes guys as above its a 9am start. This is to allow each of the 15 or so cars the 3 runs on the dyno.......so an early start is required to fit it all in I'm afraid.....

Looking forward to it now...should be a good day....

    thanks

    Paul

sorry paul but i'm not going to make this now, cars in more need of a compression test than a rolling road at the moment unfortunately ;)
