You can drive sensibly with the pops and bangs. Just keep the revs under the bang zone, touch the throttle slightly or clutch in
-
richs car is getting heads replaced due to disappearing valves.
And cracked cylinder heads.
Could be a number of factors though. I don't think the pops and bangs would do it.
Get the full monty pops and bangs. I can't wait for the next Moray Run

Always good when you've got a room in your house full of goodies for the car.
Keep us updated with the fitting craig

Does that make me a bad person?
Yes

I lost mine, plus the smaller guard around the gearbox area...that 1 flew off at speed

Nice write up Al, things are fairly coming along with that scoob of yours.
Set of alloys and it'll be sorted on the exterior

Anyone looked into upgraded radiators?

dont worry Al,its all good banter and im safe enough just now anyway- Richs cars having a rear engine conversion!!!
well the heads valves and most of the rests in the boot so that must be the plan?
Better weight distribution across all dampers
(staying on topic

Ah that looks bloody easy

Tein kit + upper mounts + EDFC + fitting and your quite close to £1200.

Don't shag sheep in the daylight....
You might get caught

Classics are GC8 not GDA or GDB.
The Maf is sensitive so unless you really need an induction kit ie with front mount intercooler etc...then your best sticking to an uprated panel filter.

Tein's were the first make of coilovers that came into my head

Group buy on Tein's

Always a good watch that program, 7 out of 10 they gave the new Scoob IIRC

Got to agree there, lowering springs on standard dampers won't last as long as expected, especially on some of our roads.
Best get saving for the prodrive/bilsten setup Al

Wash the wheels only so it looks worse...that'll p*** off the missus

Ive had my bonnet pop up on a spitited drive. Sprayed some WD40 into the catch and it cleared out some grime in there, problem solved.

This kinda thing really annoys me, especially just along the road in elgin.
Next scooby run starts off from your house, parades round elgin one weekend at night and hunt them wee fluckers down!!!!
Shame on such a clean scoob, no respect whatsoever
