  1. Went to Hypertech today Got rear ARB, Drop links front and rear, ALK and fast road geometry settings done and came home in what felt like a new car. Took as scenic a route home as possible to test things out but was limited due to volume of traffic. Bends though did feel significantly different. very flat and neutral with the back end feeling much more planted.looking forward to getting a real feel for it over the next few days. Thanks to Duncan and Duncan Jr, really nice guys too.
  2. All hail to the chief! Very nice work there
  3. Superb mate! I'd be suicidal if the car got that dirty
  4. Looking good chaps, cant beat a shiny car
  5. Thanks for the nice comments chaps John, couldn't agree more with Colzo and C WRX, it's the only way to do your car justice and very satisfying at that. Will let you know how it goes at Hypertech, very much looking forward to the drive back to Irvine, I may be gone some time...springs to mind! Powder coated droplinks are the order of the day and yes you're righr about the spoiler Gus, you're a bad man!
  6. LOL! most certainly did. Twice in fact
  7. Gave the car a wee scrub today in preparation of a visit to Hypertech. Had the Prodrive springs done a fortnight ago and now getting rear ARB, front /rear drop links, anti lift kit and fast road geometry done. Feel like a wean wi a new toy! cheers Kevan
  8. Hi mate welcome aboard
  9. Lovin the engine bay There's a few bob in there I'll bet!
  10. That's a nightmare mate. Really makes my blood boil that!!!!
  11. You are def right tho it does need something. Looks kinda unfinished without
  12. Not sure about that one John, looks like you could serve drinks off that
  13. Same here John, can't fault them. Accessory shops etc you'll get one with Maguiers Quick detailer spray for about £13 but tough to find clay on it's own.
  14. Cheers Gus
  15. Have they got a few sets Gus? For obvious reasons wouldn't mind a set myself. Kevan
  16. Congratulations Peter and Denise,
  17. Sooooooooperb!!!! Me? Jealous? Aye very!
  18. Agree too. Got one in my Hawkeye
  19. Hi mate I've got one( Scott Lowe) too and Prodrive springs all be it only had the springs a short period of time. Think John's Tiens, which he had at the time are a bit lower than Prodrive so maybe not as bad clearance? Never had it on a ferry either. From an esthetic point of view I think it improves the front no end. For me it's a winner. As for the dealer one, way too much cash. Particularly if there's a chance you're going to scone it on the ramp of a ferry. Kevan
  20. Thanks for that Oobster, I had a big grin on whilst reading that. I'll give the springs a couple of weeks to settle down and then I'll be heading to Bonnybridge!!!
  21. Thanks, look forward to your report
  22. Hi Oobster, fortuitous timing with your post. I got Prodrve spring kit fitted at S+S just yesterday and did not get the geometry setting for that exact reason i.e tyre wear. The car feels immediately significantly better on the springs alone so would you recommend the Hypertech fast road settings as the way to go as I feel it's a job only half done so far? Cheers Kevan
  23. Hi buddy,welcome aboard
  24. Hi G.T. Ive got the crystal titanium Ultra Leggeras pictured here but kinda regret not going for the graphite. Having said that I do really like them and they're dead easy to clean. Cheers Kevan
  25. Hi James I've the wheels of my 06 wrx if they fit you can use them no probs. Kevan
