  1. Cool pics!
  2. Haha! Yeah. There isn't even 31 days in June
  3. Yeah. The Prodrive settings produce excessive wear on the insides of the front tyres. I have ran with both and can't say that I noticed any huge difference to grip, but defo better on tyre-wear.
  4. Very nice Bug and I can't decide which which of those wheels I like best... probably the 2nd set. All cool!
  5. Seen all that on ScoobyNet for 2k with dccd from a MY05. The guy called his car a "Dropeye" I'm sure he meant a Blobeye unless there is some other limited design that I have never heard of! Less than the price of a twin plate clutch?
  6. Yeah. I need to sort out the gear box first though but I'm afraid that its going to cost more than any pennies I can save at the moment, but it will happen eventaully, I'm sure. I just sent JohnS a PM to book my track day for June 31... to hell with it! LOL!
  7. Yeah, at least I got two years out of it and its still going. Besides, the clutch is a consumable part and doesn't cost nearly as much to fix as the other stuff that has gone on the car. It's just a shame that my car is my daily runner as well as everything else. So when something breaks I can't afford to wait around on 2nd-hand bits and I can't afford the time to have a go at sorting it myself (besides being a ignorant phud around cars). That said, I love the car, its a fantastic experience and an honour to own such a thing. And I have absolutely no regrets about anything even though I moan about stuff breaking from time to time. I know that when I am old and in a home dribbling my food down my chin and peeing myself, I will be able to look into the distant past and say, "Ah, I remember the time when I had a Scooby..."
  8. Nope, still standard and still lasting. No doubt that will be the next thing to go, haha!
  9. Me too.
  10. Agree with all said: great looking wheels ata great price!
  11. Yeah, the ISO is way too high for outdoor pics! I had a look at that Tein car pic and you can see that it has a lot of digital noise (grainy), a sure indication of too high an ISO setting, that and the huge over exposure!
  12. Hahaha! I know! Laugh away, I do!
  13. PPG... drooool Good luck!!!!!
  14. Oh right, so China, India and the rest say "we want more", and WE have to freaking pay for it!!!! I can't understand it! Why don't we say to China and the rest, NO, your not getting as much as you want ESPECIALLY when they sell the freaking stuff at 35p a litre! Presumably they are buying it at the same price as everyone else YET the consumer pays a mere fraction of what we pay. How can that be???? Heard on the radio today that one of the countries in the world (can't remember who now) can buy petrol at, get this 2p per litre!!!!!!!! You can fill your car up fo jsut over a £1. Also heard today that people are hoping that the Government don't put the planned 2p duty rise on the price at the pump come October. One commentator said that it will be difficult for them to do a climb down because the treasuery NEEDS the money! WHAT! What about the money they are raking in in tax with the over-inflated price of a barrell. They ought to cut the current duty, the stupid greedy selfish scum!
  15. Spend the 2 grand on mods, break the car, then get into debt to repair it. That's what I did! Only I didn't wait til the warranty was up!
  16. Correct: Blobeye MY04 if I'm not mistaken. I have his Brembos so it can't be MY05 or later
  17. And I'll have an even bigger turbo!
  18. No it was' he done in his fifth gear I'm sure.
  19. Your feet are big enough to H+T from the back seat big guy!
  20. Can't really argue as I am not fully clued up on this, but one has to wonder why a company like Shell would run at a LOSS. Seems a tad difficult to belive. Also, becasue a company is 100 old and well-established, it doesn't make them reputable on that basis alone. Furthermore, this oil price malarky is all very shrouded. Why is it $120+ /barrel? What makes it shoot up to that price in a few weeks? How many litres is in a barrell. All of these things and more are out of the public realm. Seems to me that the less the man in the street knows about such things the more wool can be pulled over his eyes.
  21. My point exactly. The answer must be a simple one: they are simply greedy. Allied to that the amount of extra money they are pulling in with the infalted road tax of which only something like 10% is put back into the roads. Absolutely sickening.
  22. The tax on the oil is percentage-based and the tax at the pumps is pence per litre.
  23. yip, utterly mindless. But who knows, maybe the guy did the arsonists wife or sold drugs to his kids. Two sides to every story.
