Ok whilst we changed some of the coolant hoses last night we had the intercooler off and we discovered that the red 90degree hose is in not very good condition. I would like to change it and considered just going standard again as I can't seem to find a suitable one in silicon that doesn't come as part of a kit. So does anyone know where I can get a standard one online or get a silicon one that isn't part of a kit. eBay do have silicon ones that seem to be 4 layers but have been advised that it really needs to be 5ply minimum. Took a couple of hours but would have been longer if it wasn't for my quick tool handling lol. Some of the existing clips were gubbed so were difficult to come off.

Was funny sitting at traffic lights with steam belching out the intercooler that was evaporating off from when we took the old hoses off. The strange looks I got

Am glad I did this now but in doing this it has highlighted a couple of things that need replaced which I didn't know about ?

I got my hands dirtytonight and fitted these with a wee bit of help from Scott and Gordon. I have been told that holding the screwdriver and ratchets are the important things in jobs like this so in that case I did all the important things lol.

Does anyone know what bulbs are in a blobeye as I am buying a spare bulb kit but there appears to be two types and I don't know what one is correct. There is an h1 or h4 kit. Thanks Chris
