  1. Have you tracked on the Kevlar pads?
  2. Got couple of quotes from as performance and Godspeed. The Godspeed kit comes with warranty against warping. Roughly looking at 200 quid on both types. Godspeed are grooved and as performance are oem variants. Looks like the redstuffpads pads are an issue but not sure why? Chris
  3. Place called the whangie. Near the carbeth inn. Not a bad wee walk and a bit more adventurous than our recent ones.
  4. Well after packing up the car and getting to the destination for today's walk and finding I forgot my jacket I ended up using my trusty old sidc jacket on the walk. Any opportunity for a bit of sidc advertising lol. Glad I keep it in the boot of he scoob otherwise I would have been freezing lol

  10. Performance friction out of my price range.
  11. Check fai17 signature for place in Kilbirnie next to greersport. He did excellent job on my focus st wheels powder coating them. They were Ames when I bought the car Chris
  12. Have heard drilled discs fracture on inside also. Apparently it is Godspeed discs that come on Scoobys . Not heard much about brembo discs.
  13. Ok so I will no doubt need new discs at some point this year especially before nurburgring so without spending crazy money what do you recommend nd from where? http://www.mtecbrakes.co.uk/ I had the above on my focus st and had no issues, granted I didn't track it. Just had the grooved ones. Looked at ebc, tarox, black diamond but just don't know what is best. Chris
  14. Lol. Pads didn't involve adjusting things or tightening cables etc Also my life insurance pays out more lol
  15. If i was a bit more experienced i would give this a shot but as i am new and a novice to all this and with it being the brakes i think i will need to get an expert to look at this. Looks fairly simple and straightforward but i value my life and dont want to tinker with something i am not sure about.
  16. Best not let Phil take the lead lol or if you do make sure you tie a few gery cans of vpower lol
  17. I fear the worst as still no news from g. Send out the search party.
  18. Will need to see if scoobywho knows this fix for when he helps me do the rear pads on the 350z and bleeds the brakes
