My Car's Been Stolen!

Got back yesterday (23/03/09) at 6:30 pm to find the car gone. Flat had been brocken into and keys stolen along with the TV and Xbox.

Obviously the main thing is the car. Stolen from the centre of Glasgow with a full tank of fuel. If anyone see's her please let myself and the police know.

Sorry to hear it chap.

With a full tank of juice, to be honest, i hope you don't get it back and get a good payout from the insurance instead.

5t.

Theres not a chance ill get a good pay out from insurance company. I've only had it back a couple of weeks as well from having a couple of new panels and a re-spray! :hl:

Gutted for you. Seems to be the method of choise for stealing them these days. Had my parents house broken into a few years back but thankfully the old man woke up.

You'll get more from the insurance co than you would if you tried to sell it mate.

If faced with a choice of them holding a knife/bat, standing at my bedside, demanding keys at 4am... or just breaking in and taking them then I'd choose the latter. End of the day its crap, but at least they were in and out without disturbing you or other members of your family which would have made things far worse and harder to deal with.

I also hope you dont get to see the car again, as I said on PF, it'll be in a sorry state once they've finished with it.

Cheers,

Grant

Gutted for you. Looks a stunning example too.

Fingers crossed it might turn up, but unfortunatly unless there is a Tracker in it the reality is it is likely to be long gone.

Seems to be a lot of this at the moment.

Hope the insurance comes out ok and this doesn't put you off Imprezas.

Totally gutting. What area of Glasgow was it stolen from? One thing thats going for the car is the colour. I'm out in the van doing servicing just now, up and down the M8 and beyond so I'll keep em peeled.

got a visit today from the police woman that came when my gb270 got stole nearly 5 weeks agow she recons most of the time when a car gets stole its parked up within a couple of miles from where it got stole the reason for that is incase its got a tracker and they dont want to drive too far or long incase its got a traker and get caught my advice get a few mates together and take a good drive about the local area in a few cars they do keep an eye out the reason she came to my door was because she seen me in a blue scooby so they must keep there eyes open

Stolen from the east end. The most annoying thing is any other normal Monday and i would have been at work WITH the car. Took the day off as was down south and didnt get home till 2am so went and had lunch with my dad and a mate. Took my dads car instead of mine as i was pretty tired.

I HATE THEIVING SCUM!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought so...theres a LOT of this going on in the east end of Glasgow just now. Opportunists waiting for you to walk away from the car at the petrol station and possibly leaving the keys in the ignition, and the old "leave a note on the rear windscreen" trick.

Ive heard of 4 people now who have had cars stolen in the past few months from the sandyhill area.
