jamie_wood Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 When the time allows it I'm often found playing my organ[] I like to collect various Scooby bits n bobs. Only got some out just now. More stuff still needing unpacked when the office is finished. And when we can, we head for the Lake District and go walking in the Fells and forests. Mostly Grizdale area. And then recharge the batteries at the Tapas bar in Bowness[] That's about it. Music, Cars/motorsport and outdoor pursuits
oobster Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 I collect model cars - mostly 1/18th scale, got nearly 100 now. Not really got room to display them anymore. Pics here - these were taken in the summer and i've got about another 20 since then. Nice tables by the way Geo - very nice. [y]

scoobyiain Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 My hobby is cleaning cars, love doing it and gonna make it easier soon by buying a pc. Use to go to the gym regular but have not been in a while so need to get back to that in the new year. Also liked spinning the odd record on the decks at home but they got moved out of the way when the computer was bought.

AlanG Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 [ img ] "insert url for image" [ /img ]. Keep the brackets and img together, then insert url, then finish off with /img enclosed in brackets. How d'you transport such a thing? Even stripping it down it looks like its bulky!
Alan-G Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Did that AlanG , Blimey it looks like were joined at the hip or summit.[:|] People, Just for the record. AlanG and Alan-G (me with Fab1 on board) are two completely different people. AlanG , I will try to reply to your post to see how you inserted the link - thanks BTW. I know a little bit about BBcodes but this board didn't like it. I'll try again and thanks M8.
Alan-G Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Tried a few pics again, but no result using Yes it was a bit bulky at 20 Kgs. But the wings were detachable and so were the elevators (tail fins) It actually fitted in a VW Golf ! Wasn't speed checked but they reckoned at 240 MPH.
G.T. Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 that is a well cool jet allan what kind of range did you have on it did you ever have any accidents
Alan-G Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Range is out of site mate. If it ends up out of site , then its historic anyways. About ½ a mile away is fine because she was quite predictable on her flight path being quite a big profile in the sky. The Mig suffored one crash but was fixable .. her next ending was complete destruction though. A house fire claimed the life of this model and is now sadly ,no more... (£12k) Shame but hey, the fire happened on the night our first child was born, and I am glad that only the model got it (along with 6 other cheaper versions) and that mother and daughter were tucked away in the hospital at the time. I can LOL now. Those exciting times are gone. The future is with the wee one (and me scoob) Lol. Merry Christmas to you all. Alan. Jen, Hollie and a toasted MiG29 lol.
