Thanks for the good attendance tonight folks .

This was our first 'indoor' meet in a while , after a summer of evening runs .

  It was nice to see some new faces , and also nice to see the lads through from Balloch Hope you all enjoyed it tonight and will be back again.

Thanks go to the Brewers Fayre Hillington for giving us a section of the restaurant where we could conduct business.

It was good to get the Santa Cruise dealt with , as it only just over a month away and this years looks like it is going to be good .

Peter did a roaring trade in raffle tickets - these are going like hotcakes and there are some great prizes up for grabs - get them while you can ...

Thanks also to Imy for distributing the donation sheets - if you can all try to get these returned in the next couple of weeks , it will let us start getting presents bought in . Anyone who didn't manage tonight but would like a donation sheet , please contact Imy (micra_wrc) or myself via PM.

There will be a report and pics posted soon from the post-meet run to 'st3ph3ns tunnel' (fnaarr fnaarr [;)])

Cheers for the event guys, was a good one and the wee run through the tunnel..........nearly went off with a casualty! Yes, i did feel the backend coming out on me when exiting it, on the back run. [:s]

good turnout tonight.  Nice to see some new faces

it was cold but not cold enough for the usual 30 mins of

scooby-chat before we went inside, i wasnt mad enough to do that and

went in and ordered my dinner [;)]

tunnel run was good, think there were 16 scoobs there.  The sound was awesome [Y]

Tunnel was too short though, need to find a longer one!

Glasgow is not really festooned with great tunnels like London is but the harmonics of that wee tunnel tonight are spot on

Good to see some new faces and some old ones

Santa Cruise this year is gonna be a cracker

A longer one but without the interest the clyde tunnel generates.

Nice to see a great turnout and plenty of new faces too. The club's going from strength to strength and I hope everyone felt welcome and weren't too frightened of the squirrell. He doesn't bite much, even with his new teeth.

Good to see dave's 2.5. He was behind me on the run to the tunnel and I could hear the noise of the turbo spooling up. I was cackling away like a mad man as it sounded tremendous.

I even met what appeared to be a very nicely sorted black integra type r on the way home and I do believe we both seen SEVENTY mph on the motorway. Tut tut, dear dear, etc. etc.

St3ph3n Tunnel was indeed a bit short and the exit was a tad slippery but i still enjoyed whilst i was in there giving it some[;)]

Was great to see so many newbies and hope that yous will return to the next meets.

Meets wasn't always like this(in the old days) but now there is a new lease of life in the Glasgow Region.

The gathering is getting better and better so lets keep up the good trend Ally[:)]

Had a really good night, despite my very near miss with the Ka on the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />KingstonBridge! That will teach me for not paying attention. Good to meet you all and will definitely be back along in the future. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

As Lesley had said above we had a great night and were made to feel really welcome. Cheers folks, looking forward to seeing you all next month!

And yeah myself and Lesley own a silver bugeye sti with tsl pacakge.

Cheers Stephen for the help with the petrol stations, we actually made it as far as the Linwood Shell station, and the petrol light still hadnt came on!

Was good to see a few more silver scoobs at the meet. 

I have now decided to forget about the couple of months left on the warranty and go for some performance mods.

CAI is first on the list as well as AFR meter if i can manage to find one at a reasonable price.

the drive through the tunnel was great even though i think my car must have been the quietest.  Serves me right for going for the Scoobyworld silenced ninja centre section.

I knew i should have went for unsilenced.

Glad to hear you've decided to sac the warranty and give in Chris - the fun and costly moddin path begins ;)

Unfortunatley I got lost and missed the tunnel fun later in the evening, bloody typical as I was probably one of the louder scoobs here, oh well there is always next time. :D

Glasgow area is going from strength to strength thanks to you guys (and girls )

Keep the ideas coming folks - and keep thinking about other ideas for the year ahead .

I've a few ideas to put to you(z) for next year .  .  .  but they'll keep till after Santa Cruise [;)]
