thewelsho Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 All vids worked for me. Very impressive driving, very smooth and relaxed no dramas; also finding good lines through the apexs. Loved it! If I ever do a track day (probably never) I will defo use these to learn the circuit! How do you secure your camera in the back of the car like that? Good stuff. John
st3ph3n Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Fee, the little pug corners quite nicely. looks like great fun round knockhill.
Adam Kindness Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I bought a cheap roll cage mount off the net. £40 or so.... a lot cheaper, and simpler than the 100+ jobbies you see advertised by demon tweeks etc. Still has movement on 3 axis though. If you want the link i can dig it out for you. They do various different types of mounts. The pug does handle quite well.... just drifts out if pushed too hard, and gets sideways on demand with a wee flick
Fee Posted June 12, 2006 Author Posted June 12, 2006 LOL.... there's one part of the track that dips....you can hear the rear tyre rubbing every time! I was trying to get adam to take it a bit easier on that bit cos I kept getting clouds of smoke round me from it! [*-)]
Adam Kindness Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I was taking it easy my love Tyre squeel..... pressure too low, or too high? (too high isnt it?)
Big Daz Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Too high I think, Caused by the tyre moving sideways across the surface I think
Adam Kindness Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 didnt measure them on track/hot... but they were at aprox 31 all round in the morning with ambiant temp. Once we get the car/setup sorted out and some 048's or 888's sorted we'll start worrying more about tyre pressures... or do they make a big difference ?
