Biscuit
Anyone tried Tiscali broadband, picked up one of their discs today, £35 connection and £27 / month for 512kps or £19 for 256 kps. They are also offering free ADSL modems, I already have one (not installed) but would not offer me a discount. Bill Link to comment
Cooldad
Had a bad experience when I was with Tiscali on dial-up, so was unwilling to return to them when I went on Broadband. Now with OneTel: £25.99/month, free connection, free Fujitsu DSL modem AND two splitters / filters. Helpline briliant too. For example, lost the CD-ROM with my DSL drivers on recently, so couldn't load them on to my new PC. OneTel re-connected me to a temporary dial-up account, I downloaded appropriate drivers from the Fujitsu website and, hey presto! I was re-connected in a matter of minutes. Their help line is also a national number (which is free on my mobile) unlike Tiscali dial-up's "0906 Sexy Sue Dominatrix" £1.00/minute job. Pipex has a free helpline apparently (ask Stu). Best value around at the moment must be Bulldog DSL, £27.99/month and 500 kb/s normally and 1 Mb/s after 18:00 and all weekend. Connection isn't free, however! Link to comment
