scoobyseller555 Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Ginge-06 upper aerofoil(roof spoiler to you and i)is available from flatfour online. With regards to the prodrive spring kit £225 all in + fitting less 10% sidc discount, only plus point is that although they are eibach springs, they dont rattle in the spring cups like eibach springs(mines do my head in)Only problem you'll have with teins is that they may rub with your intended 19's,but without doubt the best spring kit on the market. Gus-never mind the rear spoiler!WHAT ABOUT THE FRONT SPLITTER? Gav
SEEVERS Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Ginge go to WWW.SUPERSTYLING.COM,choose Subaru in the list on the left hand side and go to page 4,bottom right hand side shows the roof spoiler for £92.00 primed. Hope this helps. Del.
oobster Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I think you mean www.supersyling.co.uk Del The .com version is all about hair care!!! Here's the link right to the product - exactly the same as mine here And they are selling approx £32 cheaper than I paid
st3ph3n Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I was never sure of the rear spoiler until I saw oobster's pics and it really does look good.
gus the bus Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 << Gus mate where did you get ur corner splitters from? and who you get to paint them and fit them? And who you get the spoiler from? Prices if thats not too cheeky. Am thinkin bout the rallytec rear high level spoiler on my uk300 wi the carbon top just for something a bit diff but wi similar looks. >> got my corner splitters from "for sale and wanted" section of this forum cost me £50 plus £40 for me old mate Stevie Walker in Bathgate to paint. Fitted them myself piece of Pash the only other thing you need if you want to do a proper job is more grommits (nae Wallace required) which will cost you £8 from Gav @ IG or any reputable Subaru Dealer. with regard to the Rallytech spoiler I got it from G6RAY who had bought it fit on his scoob before his smash. Got it for £100 and its exactly what I wanted. I need it painted tho so, another job for Stevie Walker!!! I was going to get one from DRMOTORSPORT but its £500. The Company G6RAY got it from was GBKPERFORMANCE and I think he paid £150 inc postage finished in primer. the spoiler is exactly the same as the Rallytech one but you wouldn't get it with the carbon me thinks. Painting of the spoiler would set you back £150 from Stevie boy (details supplied if required!) so thats £300 instead of £500 Gus
malky Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I have the eibach springs on 19" oz wheels, no probs with rubbing. The springs were about £250 and only took me 2hrs to fit; geometry set up at S&S was £80.
malky Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Thanks, When I last saw you?re car oobster I thought it was looking very nice (I like red cars), some of the small changes you have done makes you?re car really stand out from the norm. Thanks Gus.
derek_mair Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 Malky, How long have you had the 19's on the car? it looks good mate, cause ave been lookin at 18's as they say 19's are too big for the motor.......Have you had any probs at all with them?
malky Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 The wheels have been on since last may, no probs, no rubbing; most people that tell you that they don?t fit haven?t tried them. The only thing to watch out for is the correct offset, I had a vectra gsi on 19's before I got my scoob, some guy told me that my car wouldn't drive, little did he know, again there was no probs with them on.
scoobyseller555 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 ginge,as you know i sold scott(sma01)his sti with 19' superlegerras he had plenty hassle with them, popped tyres, bent them, tramlining etc...they r ok if you dont drive your car hard....but you do!!and the rolling radius changes therefore your car is slower and your speedo is out.
scoobyseller555 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Malky-They still look the dogs bo**ocks m8!
wilky Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Havent seen your car for ages Malky, its looking really good. Callum W
malky Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 As I said I have had no probs with mine, no noticeable difference in speed and my speedo is spot on up to 70mph, and only 3mph out after that according to my road angel.
fai17 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 It really depends how low you want your car and how firm you want it too. I've got Prodrive springs on and Greersport Group N geometry done for about £45.I'm sure they are alot cheaper rate than dealers £25+vat. So if you want to save some cash then you can maybe go there if you like.
derek_mair Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 Well I reckon the Teins are what I'm lookin for peter, But ave got those wheels that you have, the car is wr blue so if you see someone with the identical car it's me, What size of wheels do you have on your's?
gus the bus Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 << Gus mate where did you get ur corner splitters from? and who you get to paint them and fit them? And who you get the spoiler from? Gus
sma01 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 APS induction kit is very good mate, got one on mine, but you will def need a remap after fitting it.....Dunc has one in stock if you are after one tein coilovers are definitely the way to go, massive improvement to the cars handling. Dunc fitted mine and swiggis and we were both agreed they are superb....works perfectly with all the whiteline bits added as well..... scott
derek_mair Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 When is duncan back from his holidays then mate? As I will get everything done when he come's back..
