What cars have you had? Good and bad!

Not had many in my 8 years of driving.

1. 1986 Mk4 Escort, 1.4 CVH engine, full XR3i replica plus RS bonnet, custom front splitter, TSW stealths, momo wheel, lowered, no silencers at all, just a pipe to a BB2, bass cannon, anything boy racer you can envisage this car had lol.

2. 1996 Rover 214 SEi , filter and exhaust saw 13 bhp and 10lb/ft increase (not bad on a NA 1.4) , wasnt that fast, brakes from a turbo Rover and good suspension made it half decent though, 105 seconds round Kames in a 5 door hatch with a 1.4 engine and Nankang tyres.

3. 1994 Rover 220 Coupe Turbo, this car has a huge spec (still got it, not sold it yet) , full rebuild, turbo, engine, suspension, brakes, all upgraded. Currently the fastest Rover coupe over the 1/4 mile in the UK (there was one faster down south but it has been broken for spares now) at 12.88 @ 114mph, love this car but just fancied a change and something newer.

4. 1997 WRX STi Type R, only had it 3 weeks, it's huge amounts of fun though, thoroughly enjoying it.

Short list there, I'm not one for changing cars too regularly.

1990 Ford Fiesta....1L....4 gears.....need I say more!!!

1997 Peugeot 206 1.9 Diesel......slow as feck, sounded like a tractor, but was cheap to run which was handy when I was a poor student.

1994 Fiat Punto 1.4 GT....probably the most fun car that I have ever owned! It was flippin ace! Did a fair bit to it, new exhaust, fmic and remap...kicked ass on the quarter mile, but seemed to like munching on spark plugs so needed changed every couple of months...

1997 Subaru Impreza WRX STi TypeR.....my pride and joy....I dont think I'll ever get bored of this car...but will quite happily trade it in for a 22B in a couple of years....LOL

1987 Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi....the beast....this car does not want to die....its been sitting in a garage for the past year...and started up again first time and is probably running now better than ever! Bring on the first track day!

Vectra 2.0i nice enough car but doubt ill buy another

1.  1.2 Nova.  First car at 18 havin past my test!  Heap of sh!te

2. S2 Escort RS Turbo.  Original on purchase, but done loads to it.  4" SS Magnex Exhaust, Piperxross Filter, Bajao Chip, Dump valve, Koni Adjustables, plus total engine rebuild and re boared pistons.  Was 215 bhp before I killed it!  Great fun to drive, even though the torque steer was crazy!  Was wrote of after a tube hit be when i was overtaking, he did not check his blind spot, and hit me while I was passing him and he went to overtake.  Sent me all over the road and eventually into a parked A4 in a layby.

Nothing except Dads car for three years.....was waiting for pay out, as I was only third party at the time!

3.  Ford Mondeo ST24.  Okay, but I got toasted of a 2.5 vectra, and that disgusted me!!

4.  2000 UK Spec Impreza Turbo.  Standard the now, but planning some mods.  First will be exhaust and filter!

my first cars were! and im only 23! les has had a few others but my mind is blank!!

1)1L fiesta f reg which had a hatch so you could run LOL

2)1.4 escort h reg which was taxed and mot bought for £20? and sold for £300!!!

3)R5 GTT f reg this was les' first car and the bain of my life i hated this car and it caused so many points etc etc

4)1.8 16v ford orion k reg the love of my life the car that gave me all my confidence in a car until i broke it. i split the block from the exhaust manifold up and it still drove perfect just gassed you LOL!!

5)mk2 golf looked like a gti but was only 1.4 the slowest 1.4 ever, but at least it looked the part!

6)my impreza sport r reg was not the car we went to look at but was the one we came home with! no problems with this car and still regret selling it

7)93 impreza wrx import bloody fast and the radiator has arrived so will be back on the road tomorrow!!!

1st car. Golf mk2 16v 3dr full leather and a bit of work to engine stupid fast best first

car ever should never have sold it

2nd car. Pug 306 1.9d slow as crap but did 600 miles to £40

3rd and current car. mk3 golf VR6 194bhp 193lb/ft trq

 

next car hopefully a scoob the golf was bought cos at 21 scoob insurance was mind blowing

now at 23 it's still expensive but buck it im doing it anyway!!
