sharon_mccall
Ross9 - loved your car m8. The sound up the pit straight was brill. I used to have a rover coupe and i loved it. Watched you playin with the ferarri, bloody magic stuff.! FastScooby - Graham, you did a really good job for your first time. yes it's a 1.6 - your car looks and sound the business. As for me, i froze my a$$ off, but had a great day. When's the next one?????????????? p.s. It would have been nice to meet more people but i didn't know who was SIDC and who wasn't. Only recognised John cos his name was on his shirt! Link to comment
st3ph3n
I was the massive ginger fellow in the red top. Makes me easy to spot. I'd have been white as a sheet around half 10 after my incident. It was great to have the full day, plenty of time on track but also plenty of time for spectating and talking pish in the pits with everyone. I had a chance to talk to some of the Caterham drivers, a couple of the evo boys and a lot of the Impreza guys too obviously. Link to comment
Digital
I was parked next to you Ruby at the gravel car park up from the hairpin shelter (WR Blue STi). I was gonna introduce meself, but when i turned round to see if you were still there, you had gone I froze me nads off, so sat mostly in the warmth of the car. Three layers of clothing next time!! sharon_mccall
St3ph3n - saw you in the pit lane m8. I was about the only chick standing there in the morining, with my 6yr old Rachel. Nice motor Digital. Yes, it was very very cold, we stood for most of the day but like you kept nipping in to the car for a wee heat. Wish you'd said hello Link to comment
AlanB
Was hoping to come up and watch this one, but got held back at Dastek. Does anyone know where the nearest Shell is from Knockhill? Link to comment
st3ph3n
Crook of devon. Left at the exit, right when you get back to Powmill and then about 3 miles along the road. No cheap though. Link to comment

duke
hehe - well i could get used to these track days mabye i should rescind my gt4oc membership and join the sidc.... dont suppose there is a timetable of events planned by sidc or is it as and when it happens, just that i may invest in some coilovers and am currently looking at brake setups -so far either mintex, TRD or wholehog performance friction floating discs depending upon frequency of these events - too much brake judder on main & back straights after 4/5 laps Link to comment
sma01
"hehe - well i could get used to these track days" me too, think am going to have to find another job where i get more than 1 weekend off a month.... think it will be into the start of the year before a timetable comes out mate, although not 100% sure, Dougster or JohnS are probs best placed to let us know for definite i assume... Ross9
Scott - Yeah I had the dark blue Rover, I take it yours is the black Sti at 372bhp? I was chatting to you briefly yes. The session where you were in front of me as we went round was the only one I stuck the camera in on as I had passengers the rest of the day, and my mount consists of jamming the camera in the passenger headrest lol. It isn't the best angle, got a bit too much dash in, but you can still see what is going on so it's 7 mins of me goign round and you feature in a lot of it, I'll stick the link on here when I get it uploaded. Very impressive car, handling and power delivery as well, by the time I had the wheels traight enough to get the pedal down it was off every time we came out of the hairpin etc, I liked it Rubythe Scooby/Digital etc, thanks for the comments, much appreciated. Hopefully get out there again with you lot next year Ross Link to comment
st3ph3n
Dorikin - is brake Judder a technical term? I full understand what you mean though. Scott, your car was looking, sounding, and moving very nicely yesterday. You're a brave man to let Dunc take it out. Admiral, near the end of the day you managed the most outstanding drift round McIntyres. I was just coming down duffus, pointing the right way that time I may add, and noticed your car pointing in all sorts of wrong directions. It was great to watch. Link to comment
duke
thought u subaru drivers would understand brake judder more easily noise in the form of vibration due to thermo enduced expansion of a non uniform nature? in other words, when pushing on i think my discs warped a bit when pads were cooked. called performance friction and they dont do kits for the supra/celica ... looking at some porsche and movit set ups Link to comment

st3ph3n
I do enjoy McIntyres. I get that one right more often than not. Clark still confuses the hell out of me. Duffus will forever go down in my mind as the closest I've came to meeting my maker. Other than once getting a Punto on two wheels, and not being able to steer into it due to a feckin' big truck coming the other way. Courtesy car though, so it was all good. Link to comment

Admiral - Liked it when you were right up the a$$ of the Ferrari From a spectators point of view these in car videos are fab, cos you get to see all the track and you don't get wet. Now i want a shot on the track.........looks magic fun!! Link to comment

Ross9
Hi guys, sorry for the lateness, by the time I got this vid on line I had forgotten I was meant to post it here, apologies Scott. Here it is anyway, sorry for the poor camera angle it as just jammed in the headrest. Let's hope it's dry next time, stop the front end dartign around on some exits, and maybe use the gas on the straights as well withotu fear of 0 traction. Vid Again, sorry for the delay in linking it on here, Ross Link to comment
