Always well looked after.
sma01 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 glad to hear that a good service is being given by a subaru dealer, what are they like with modded cars/warranty work?
Derek FKS 85 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Something that my local dealer near Edinburgh should try. Polite and courteous service.
Mako Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Cheers Si for the comments, nice when someone gives you good feedback I do try my best Russ
dave_morgan Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 << Something that my local dealer near Edinburgh should try. Polite and courteous service. >> Who is the next nearest dealer to Edinburgh after the obvious one?
Derek FKS 85 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Falkirk probably. But worth the trip to Cupar it seems! We could really do with a decent dealer in Edinburgh.
higgy Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 It is well worth the visit ,good clean serviceand no BULLS>IT or promises that are not met. Higgy
scoobymadburd Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Well done Russ (he helped me get my jacket) claire
teknopete Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Jus thought I`d stick my ore in here guys, I`ve had numberous dealings with Eden Subaru in the past and will continue to, as the guys there actually want to help. Unlike a lot of other places I have dealt with in the past six years that I won`t mention, who just want your money. Eden are also very receptive to club members and understand that to a club member their car is their pride and joy, therefore treating customers and their vehicles with respect. Russ does a sterling job over there IMHO and wouldn`t see anyone stuck if he can help. On the night of their opening we (the Tayside and Angus members) were invited over for an intro and to take part in the events. Which we all thought really decent of them. There may also be something in the pipeline real soon with them So c`mon guys let them know we as a club appreciate them are supporting them. If your scoobs unwell it`s worth going that little bit further to call in on them. Pete
Mako Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Thanks for the support folks. much appreciated. It is difficult being a new dealer as we have to try and build up a decent reputation. hopefully that is what we are doing. As a family owned company who are all total petrolheads it does make it a bit easier as we understand what customers want and the requirements of their vehicles. Being an owner myself before working in the motor trade I know what visiting your (local) dealer can be like and we have made it our first objective to be that little bit different from the rest. (hopefully) Pete, thanks for keeping the support going bud We will be organising some events in the future and I will keep everyone informed when these are happening. Thanks again for your continued support. Watch out for an article in upcoming True Grip. Cheers Russ
zeolite Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 mako...Was that you sitting in the filling station in Kennoway on Wednesday night?
Mako Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Sorry Ian, were'nt me mate. Surely there can't be that many white new age in Scotland. Curious. Regards Russ
oobster Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Only experience i've had with Eden was when i spotted a silver WRX that I was interested in, before i bought my red one. I can't remember the name of the salesman i spoke to on the phone, but he was VERY helpful, far more than i expected to be honest. He gave me a lot of good advice on the model, and what i should look for when buying one, even if I wasn't going to do the deal with them. Unfortunately (for them) i went for the red one from S&S, but it was refreshing to get a salesman (at eden) who actually gave a damn about the customer!!
zeolite Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Thanks from me to Eden for fixing my plip. No charge! Russ..Hope your heart and bowels are back under control.
teknopete Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 No problem Russ, As you know I`m always on the lookout and will back any company who go that little bit extra in giving members VFM and the service to go with it. Pete
