johns
Anyone is more than welcome to come along on the day to watch and get passenger laps. Obviously, we do have to limit the places available on track, and I believe these have all sold out now. If anyone is interested in taking part, but hasn't booked via the on-line club shop please send me an email on john@sidc.co.uk (no PMs please - I keep all correspondance regarding each event in an email folder, and it's a real pain to copy details from PMs etc). The reserve list is quite short at the moment, so anyone interested has a reasonable chance of getting a place on track if they wish. Cheers John Link to comment
~ ~ Cal ~~
Remember that there's no shorts sleeves allowed and you'll need your driving license too Link to comment
Big Daz
Cal, Interesting about the t shirts etc. Heard that the last time but was at a peugeot night a month or so ago & nearly everyone was in short sleeves & nothing was said as far as I am aware, Still better to be safe than sorry (and its colder now ) Daz Link to comment
duke
well afterfinally having the time free, car ready and chance to book i've finally managed to get a slot (cheers john) this is my 1st ever trackday so any help, pointers and advice much appreciated - also any passenger laps to show me the ropes or folk willing to passenger in my car much appreciated too  got some slicks arranged via mike at wheelsaround (very helpful dude ) - but am also on the lookout for 1, a pair or a set of 215/45/17 used tyres. cheers, nyle Link to comment
duke
well i decided to keep my 17s for trackday and winter use - but will eventually get round to selling them on ebay or round the forums (they can fit scoobs too so ideally want a set of road tyres on them and keep a set of slicks for trackday use. currnetly i have a pair of hankooks and a pair of khumos, but one of the khumos has badly worn on the inner edge exposing a small patch of belt, hence needs replacing. kuhomos and the hankooks were fairly decent too - i never chose them however as they were already on the car when i bought it. got p-zero assimetrico yellows on my 18s and they are just amazing, best tyre i've used so far - and bloody should be for the price!! Link to comment
Gumball
FOR SALE My place on this event is for sale to anyone that wants it. i was in track tonight and with needing new brakes and having to shell out for all my new mods this month i could do without the fuel, brakes or anything going wrong on the day hassle. The cash will allow me to recoop some money for new pads. Let me know if you want to take my place, give me the £56 i paid and you can transfer it. speak to John S. Thanks Link to comment
johns
Chris, I was looking forward to seeing your car going well on track . Perhaps next time... We can offer you a credit note towards a future event also if you wish, instead of selling it directly. I'll then sell your slot to someone on the reserve list. Please note that the price you paid is for SIDC members only, so if a non-member bought your slot, then they would have to pay the small difference on the day itself. Cheers John Link to comment
