karps Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 was a good day today and i was surprised at the number of scoobies.Would have been a good opportunity for the SIDC stand i reckon.
scoobymadburd Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Deffinately agree with you there Noel great opportunity as there was loads of Scoobies and some might not be on the site!!! Claire PS saw fee aswell but you werent at the car or me and WRC No1 would have came said hello!
irish al Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Had a great day too and enjoyed the track invasion at the end.. There was just as many scoobies parked in the hill as on the stands. If I had any flyers I would of sent Lyndsey off round them all :-) Agree it was a shame there was not SIDC stand there as nearly every other club in the country was there. Perhaps could have a stand at the next one in september.
harry_hood Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 aye there was a lot of scoobys there today, quite a lot on the track aswell.
spooks Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Glad you all enjoyed your day. Where are the pics ? Spooks
p1ggm Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 ok one question, did anyone see the green AX...and what was in it as it shamed a lot of cars, watched it pass in BETWEEN 2 cars on the start finish,
paddy247 Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 never seen the ax, but did you see the corsa with the 2 litre spitting flames lol, Thas a very nice boot install you have gordon
Big Daz Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Yep, The green ax was running some serious power for a car that weighs the same as a bag of crisps. Guy looked like he could drive a bit too Daz
karps Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Its on SKY telly in a few weeks, and you all might recognise one of the people getting interviewed. Gumball can i have your autograph now please before you get too famous?
Don Mega Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Unfortunately i couldn't make it to Knockhill on sunday i'll need to watch it on sky when it comes on instead.. even if its just for the interviews glad you all had a good day though!! Ps.. not everyone thats young and has a scoob gets daddy to pay for insurance. I worked hard to pay for both the car and the insurance (which is in my own name to) Dennis.
Fee Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Was an ok day....got a bit dull after a while....was a lot quieter than I was expecting Who's scooby was parked up by the burger stand? think it had been keyed on every single panel it was the light bluey colour......dont know what its called...but very nice
Big Daz Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 was that the WR1? Saw that too - not my choice of parking spaces Daz
p1ggm Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 << never seen the ax, but did you see the corsa with the 2 litre spitting flames lol, Thas a very nice boot install you have gordon >> ta paddy, got a good few looks from people just expecting to see subs and amps
Gumball Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 was a good day to a point yesterday. got a bit boring after a while. yes as Karps mentioned i was interviewed by Sky sports, talked about my car and before it goes live and i get ripped to bits....i'll tell you myself !!! I WAS CUAGHT ON CAMERA POLISHING MY CAR- I know its not normal, but im trying to change Thanks to club samurai for inviting me on to the stand. Where was the SIDC one??????? lost opportunity.
RS Grant Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Was a good day I thought, first chance to get the GT4 on track..... Managed to beat Ruth's Black GT4 twice and then due to a couple of fumbled gearchanges I lost out narrowly to the red 300ZX Twin Turbo. Still, had quite a few peeps come up to me after it'd finished telling me that the car sounded sweet.... that must be the Screamer Pipe!! I was in the Drag Event in the White GT4, EJZ 7*** Cheers, Grant
peter_macgowan Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 It wasn't a bad day, some nice cars. Plenty of scoobs there most parked up on the hill. Feel sorry for the owner of the WR1 keyed right round, shocking. Someone told me it was like that before it went to knockhill.
