I got my MRT/Whiteline droplinks years ago (direct from Australia) and are one of the best modifications IMHO.

They took about 6 weeks on the boat though!! face-icon-small-wink.gif

whiteline £35 ish

powerflex £65 ish

whats the difference? not much.

I'd appreciate it greatly if you let me know how you get on with the whiteline droplinks (are you getting the front AND back done?) as this is on my list of mods awaiting budget approval!

I also have a 2003 WRX.

Cheers

Andy,

I have had the back Whitelines on mine for quite a while now - worth fitting - the car is more tail happy...

There was a good guide on scabby-net a while ago and on the whiteline website it has guides to what difference it makes to the cars and what you should fit. For non-track use, they seemed to recommend the rears only, from all of my researcg. The fronts and anti-lift kit will add a bit more "liveliness" into your driving!!

I'm just going to try the rear for now and see what difference it makes; they are easy to fit so should'nt be a problem.

Will be doing the mod early July waiting for pay day! Will let you know how I get on.

I've just got back from AWD in Perth after having my rears fitted with whiteline drop links. They fitted front ones for me last year and totally sorted out the problems I was having with understeer then, due to the front drops being totally shot originals from ten years ago.

My was MOT due this week and the rears have been needing done for a while.......so whiteline all round.

I found the rears alot of fun on the way homeface-icon-small-wink.gif

I'd also add that Whiteline are quite hard to get a hold of in terms of a 6-8 weeks wait...........but Grant ordered in quite alot of Whiteline stock,so now would be a good time to call AWD if you don't want to wait.

Also,I would say that putting them on the front is a must,I'd probably put them on the front first ,then the rears if on a budget.............IMO.

Anyways, get them, should be the first mod u do to this car ,again,IMO.

have spoken to a couple of people about this, and although the majority vote goes to whiteline, he reckons that the best available are powerflex, however as with most things, this is just an opinion....

demon tweeks charge 65? hypertech in bonnynridge must have given me them half price then

Karl,

I fitted the full whiteline setup (front and back droplinks and antilift / antidive kit) to Big red about 4 or 5 years ago and would recommend it to anyone with a scoob. Makes a tremendous difference to handling IMHO. Does away with the 2 stage damping (sloppyness) that comes into play with the standard plastic rear droplinks when driving the car on the edge face-icon-small-wink.gif The car feels more comfortable when on its limits. Have to push harder before it breaks out at the back.

Fitting order I normally recommend is : Rears / Anti lift / fronts face-icon-small-wink.gif
