sKunk Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Those who PM'd for prices should have a little check together to ensure you are getting the same price. Call me cynical but I can't think of a good reason to not post the GB price on here.......
WUZ Posted March 19, 2005 Author Posted March 19, 2005 Skunk - thanks to you I think I'll pull the whole GB off the SIDC! I'm sure you'll all be hapy to pay CustomScoobies prices! If you (or anyone else) thinks I am trying to scam, then fine, go and see CustomScoobies and pay thier prices. I was trying not to offend Jon and CustomScoobies by not posting my prices which are cheaper! Nice one M8, you spoiled it for everyone! Russell (GB is OFF!)
ANDYJDMSTI Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 What the the hell is the matter with people nowadays, you get a good deal and still not happy with it F@cking astounds me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fraser_drinkwater Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Whats the Hampden Roar then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 i echo andys comments .... the minority spoil it for the rest. skunk ......... keep your comments to yourself .............. russell ........ sorry the gb isnt going ahead ............. i bet you feel like jacking it in trying to get good deals for members.
Carl Davey Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Russ, if this is off (don't blame you to be honest) i'll let the guys know where i got my gauges from. I haven't checked Jons prices but what i paid for mine must be, oooh...... 50% what he's charging? No guarantees though and you takes your chances with my supplier... It's DEFInitely a gamble!!
Gee Wr1 Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Well done Skunk Think before opening Your mouth Thank you very much for spoiling it for everybody!!!! Hope your pleased with yourself, well done!!!
WUZ Posted March 19, 2005 Author Posted March 19, 2005 Right then, I've calmed down a liitle bit now (Skunk is DEFINITELY off my Xmas card list! TW*T!) So as to ensure I am not scammimg anyone (you can all PM each other and check prices and you'll see that I am charging the same to all), I'll post up prices. If I get 1 more snide comment then I'll close the GB for definite (I'm making virtually nothing on this so any hassle makes it no longer worth it in my opinion!) Russell Defi BF Boost £142 Oil Temp £121 Water temp £121 Oil Pressure £162 Fuel Pressure £162 EGT £162 Defi Link Boost £116 Oil Temp £96 Water Temp £96 Oil Pressure £131 Fuel Pressure £131 EGT £131 Control Unit2 £67 Defi HUD £173 Oil Temp Adaptor £7 Defi OE pod (newage) £90 "defi copy" pod (classic) £80 Delivery £10 Hopefully Skunk will be happy now, not sure if I can find a good quote for him though Russell
duke Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 WUZ; would you fit to a ST205 WRC? if so can just the Defi-Link Display and control unit be used instead of all the meters? cheers
fraser_drinkwater Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Quality m8 now thats a team player, although a think the skunk found the word 'ME' in tEaM!!!!!!!!!
CustomScoobyIOM Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 << was trying not to offend Jon and CustomScoobies by not posting my prices which are cheaper! >> No worries Good prices them! Nothing like competion at all mate. All the best, Jon
WUZ Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 Cool - so long as you are OK with it Jon, I'll carry on (you did start your GB first!) Dorikin, yes M8, I have no problem fitting them to a CELICA (did a set onto a Pulsar last week!), but with the HUD, you need to buy the sensors separate (AFAIK?) as they come with the gauges! and are expensive on their own. Russell
Carl Davey Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Russ, don't take this the wrong way... Do you want me to put you in touch with who supplied my Defis? He isn't the most clued up chap but he got me my Defis within three days. For a saving of over £100 on a 3-Gauge/CU2 setup there's room there for a bit of money for yourself (nothing to be ashamed of as GB's are ALOT of hassle) and a hefty saving for the locals. Ok, he owed me a favour but i'm sure if you're ordering a large quantity of gauges he'll do you a similar if not better deal. Like i said, i just want the best for everyone.
fraser_drinkwater Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Thats the stuff and one of the reasons people join the superb club!!!!!!!

Russell >> cheers for the reply. HUD sounds interesting but i think i'd concentrate on it too much and hedge the car! will u be at edzell 27th or in dundee so i can ask you about them and place an order - if not whats ur phone number (landline pls, mums barred dialling out mobies) - cc ok?
CustomScoobyIOM Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Im cool mate We did, but as I said mate, healthy competion is good for the forum members and thats who we are working for PM you later as few things I need mainly knocklinks. Cheers mate.
jacqui_robb Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Hi Russell, The defi's are 60mm aren't they? Just wondering, cos pod i liked from TSL (see attached pics) is for 52mm gauges only. Have you, or anyone else, got a piccy of the classic pod? Cheers
Johnny50 Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Jacqui... From what i know, my Defis were 60mm...and i used a J-W Racing pod... Here's how mine looked.
