Very nice car especially the 2.5l engine. 10- UK98 Classic in Green with 17" Supert's in gold with leather. Waited nearly 8 months on delivery. 4wd turbo obsession begins 11- Evo6 GSR in white. A car I sorely missed when it was gone. (340bhp/ 300lbs-ft).Home improvements/ repairs forced the sale. 12- Audi A4 1.9tdi Quattro in Met black, sportpack, leather, bose, etc.... I got that car 10 years too early Sold after 14months 13- UK Sti8.....Really wanted an evo but Mitsu gave me a crap trade-in with the Audi. The Sti lasted 7 months. Lost a small fortune when selling. 14- Evo 7 in black, current chariot and on a quest for bhp...currently over 330. Wifes cars in that time.. - Mini Metro - Fiesta 1.1l - Renault Clio 1.2 Versialle - 1.8l mondeo - 2.0l mondeo - Renault Scenic Dci (Team Bus) Bloody 'ell. When you add up how much I've spent on these....Cars are a big waste of money.....but who cares. If I start thinking about it, I'll convince myself to sell the Evo and get another diesel
Carl Davey Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Lynched from other thread... I've had five real (driven every day) cars altogether in five years motoring since i was 17. Mercury Grey RST with 1400 CVH engine (crashed by gf at the time) Silver RST Replica (made mostly out of pieces from the above) Cavalier Turbo 4x4 Fiesta Si 1.6 16v MY98 Scoob Also had a few breakers to make some beer money from including XR2, XR3i and XR4x4. I'd have changed the car again at the end of last year had i not decided to buy a house instead. Never the less, once it's built and i'm settled in it shall be time to reconsider the fridges future. Currently swaying towards another, wider , MY98 scooby so i can remove and refit some of the tasty bits on mine.

dave_morgan Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 1 - Renault 5 Gordini Turbo (lightened body version) 2 - Mini 1275 GT (also light weight body version). Started life as a 1275, but ended up as a 1.4 3 - Nova SR. Started off as a 1.3SR, but then the head gasket went so I dropped in a 2L twin cam 4 - Golf Gti Mk2 5 - Golf VR6 Mk3 6 - Sti Type 5 7 - R33 Skyline GTR V-spec (with a few engine tweeks ) - For sale at http://www.subaru.me.uk/gtr - price negotiable as I dumped it in high before TOTB but haven't updated the website since. 8 - P1 Dunno what to get next. Just waiting for Subaru to bring out a new 2 door that can challenge the P1 in looks and performance. Tend to keep my cars for a year or so each, but the Scoobies have slowed me down as they're hard to beat on the £/bhp ratio.
Bladerider Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 1. 396ci (about 6.5L) Chevy Camaro Z28, had it for three months (some first car isn't it) 2. Holbay Hunter (had it for three weeks then rolled it into a ditch) 3. Triumph Dolomite sprint. (Horrible yellow colour) 4. 1800 BDA Escort Mexico (second best car I've ever had) 5. Avenger Tiger 6. Capri 3.0L Gia, with a turbo (Went on fire one day after a spirited run) 7. 1680cc Mini, very quick, built for autotest racing but (sort of) road legal. 8. Datsun 180Z (don't laugh, I got it from my dad after he had a stroke). 9. Rover SD1 2.6 10. Rover SD1 2.6L (yes another one) 11. Rover SD1 3.9L V8 (started off as a 3.5, but had some major work resulting in 470BHP) 12. Rover 220 coupe turbo (far too much front wheel spin) 13. Which brings me to the present day. JDM WRX the car I've been looking for all my life. I keep on spending money on it, which satisfies me for a while utill the desire for another mod sets in. I've alway's been a biker though, and I couldn't begin to list the number of bikes I've had, there's been so many.
