zeolite Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Thought someone else would have posted about it by now. Is it still on?
jacqui_robb Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 it had better be! Havent heard anything different. So who's all going then?
tim_wilkinson Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 I'll be there..........can't wait.............. Tim
johns Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 Not been able to log on so frequently as normal. Madly busy at work, and also in the process of selling my house - so hardly a spare second to go on-line Hopefully normal service will return shorthly. BTW - 29th still on, almost fully booked now See you all there John
karps Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 i would love to go on track again but unfortunately i will be in MEXICO ON HOLIDAY
zeolite Posted May 21, 2004 Author Posted May 21, 2004 Right I will be there but as a speccie only. The problem I have found at these events is that you walk about without knowing who you are looking at. So I am pretty distinctive as I have very light curly red hair. So say hello.
CAZ1562 Posted May 21, 2004 Posted May 21, 2004 Well funnily enough my car reg no. is my username and my car has SIDC stickers on it, I'll probably have my Subaru T-shirt or fleece (well that narrow's it down to 100) on and well I'm also distinctive.
zeolite Posted May 22, 2004 Author Posted May 22, 2004 Well CAZ I have seen your car before but I didn't recognise you. Perhaps we could stick SIDC stickers on our foreheads? Any other suggestions?
p3dro Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I'm gonna be there. Green wagon with sidc pedro stickers on the rear windows. Shaved head with a mad 3 year old in tow Say hi will you
jacqui_robb Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 OK, starting to panic a bit now.........(tried Dunfermline & Perth, and both with same results).... saturday
CAZ1562 Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I'll be there, I too can't wait even though I won't be on the track
zeolite Posted May 24, 2004 Author Posted May 24, 2004 Miss Scooby....Don't you know what AWD means? Besides weather reports for Knockhill just don't work!
CAZ1562 Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 << Besides weather reports for Knockhill just don't work! >> LOL......correct Knockhill weather reports are easy.........Changeable
jacqui_robb Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 << Miss Scooby....Don't you know what AWD means? >> Oi! I'm female - but i aint blonde! Just meant that nervous about being out on the track with other cars, without adding a wet track into the equation. Dont want to come round/over a blind corner/crest and find another car spun and parked in the middle of the track Besides some of us have a 5and1/2 - 6 hours round trip to Knockhill as it is, without it p#ssing down for the journey too. Hey, and have u ever been in a type r in the wet..........VERY tail happy!
zeolite Posted May 25, 2004 Author Posted May 25, 2004 Miss Scooby.....Chill. I knew what you meant I was just being flippant. Sorry. As for your question : No i haven't been in a type R at all however i have been round KH in my Alpina and i used to rally a MK1 Escort so I know about sideways. The SIDC days arte very well behaved and any silly behaviour is soon clamped down on. Don't worry. I do suggest you remove all your feminine dangly things from the windows though.
jacqui_robb Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 thats cool - it can be hard to tell on the forum if someones bitchin or just playing. Mark1 Escorts eh? Bet that was a long time ago My dad used to rally Mark1 Escorts and Zephers, then MarkII Escorts. << I do suggest you remove all your feminine dangly things from the windows though >> PMSL And why aint you or CAZ1562 going to be on the track?
johnnyr6 Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 Absolutely gutted i'm going to miss this, was gonna book tonight but my m8 wants me to go look at a type r with him on saturday. Not much persuading needed really, never mind, roll on the next one.
zeolite Posted May 27, 2004 Author Posted May 27, 2004 << Mark1 Escorts eh? Bet that was a long time ago My dad used to rally Mark1 Escorts and Zephers, then MarkII Escorts >> Hoi! It was only 5 years ago! << And why aint you or CAZ1562 going to be on the track? >> Well can't speak for CAZ but my Scoob is a road car and the rally car is getting painted.
