The Don
16 minutes ago, scoobyjoff said: Whats a TGV i thought it was a bloody fast french train or am i being a tit ??? TGV - tumble generator valve The OEM tumble generator valve (TGV) is designed to speed up air flowing to the engine during low-rpm and low load situations. This makes for more complete combustion and better fuel economy. During full throttle, these valves open to allow for more airflow, but they still create a restriction in the intake tract. scoobyjoff
Oh ok ive never heard of them so if they restrict the engine i assume they can be removed Link to comment
scoobyjoff
Thanks me don so according to that video remove the butterfly valves seems a lot of aggro to me will it make a difference power wise or are the gains not worth all the taking things apart ? Link to comment
The Don
Only if you were going for big power (they would need to be mapped out and fuelling adjusted to suit). Tony probably has a different take on them ? Link to comment
