How do you defrost your windscreen in these freezing cold mornings?

STart the car and let the heater do it's biz.

I live in a nice secluded place so it's not likely to get lifted plus there's usually another car parked in front of it...

Deicer with the heater and engine running and return to house.

Back of the car sits aboht 12inches away from a neighbours 6ft wooden fence. So it makes a nice rumble sound echo even louder. The folks accross the street say they can hear the car strting every morning.

Even worse in winter when its sitting there waitin for engine to heat up and revs to drop haha

Got up this morning and had to use the car and it was that really tough ice that was on windscreen. De-icer was useless lol. Glad I normally get train to work ?

I just warm up the engine with the heater on full (with air con) and rear demister. it seems to defrost quicker than my old fords with heated windscreens.

Prevention is better than cure! I use one of the cheap foil/plastic screen covers from Aldi, Nipped under passenger door/window one side and under wipers in parked vertical position on other side. Works a treat unless it's howling a hoolie. (Geordie word)

AAARRRRGGGGGHHHH not hot/warm water.

Cold water comes outta tap tap at around 8/9° which is still hotter than the frozen window

I watched my neighbour using warm water and 2 minutes after he started driving his windscrren shattered ouch...
