So the new record is 7.53:08, and the old record was 7.55 by Tommi Makinen in a standard STi with 320bhp that's half the price.

Think I'm missing something here, no???

Tommi did really use the kerbs and threw it around he drove it like it was tarmac rally.

The Revolution car seemed like it was more on the road than kerb clipping, more of a track race than a rally.

But i suppose thats down to the different driving styles. The revolution car looks decent but i'm not sure how many of them they'll sell......

For the amount of $$$ that was spent on the newer car vs. how much time was shaved off the lap, it really doesn't seem worth it.
