the wench will be armed with the canon and the roadhawk is always running when the car is on. I'm sure there'll be the usual array of go-pro cameras strapped in various precarious places on the side and back of cars over the weekend!

day one over and its been a mixed bag! weather has given us sleet, snow, rain and sun, some great roads, some poor driving from bikers (and myself ) and the fling's highest attrition rate to date - Glyns out, Kevan's loooking doubtful and Kenny should be all good to go again in the morning!

On the whole driving standards have been their usual excellent selves, scenerys gorgeous even in the rain, most of us made it to Inverness on one tank and my new tyres are scrubbed in now Id say.....

So bed and up bright and early for day two - looking forward to seeing the reinforcements in the morning

O and todays tip is.......... bring water, especially if you have a 2.5 :s
