j-k Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Monty...might have a set of STI 8 gold 17s if you are interested...M25 Flyer has them at the moment but looking at a previous thread, it looks like he will be doing something different... The tyres are no good , (but they need to be 215s to fit a classic with standard arches i think) Wheels are in good condition and have done approx 13k regards j-k
Montythegod Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 Hi thanks for the offer, but I have found some 17's with good tyres, i think they may be classic prodrive speedlines?? Been refinished in satin chrome ... Very similar to this : http://www.iwoc.co.uk/images/subaru/speedlin.jpg until I get bored with em... I may look yours up if you still have them. In the mean time I have to get rid of my standard my98 16's with 2 resonable tyres if there are any interested parties ??? If not a trip to ebay it is (prefer to keep them in Kent of course !) lol

Pele Posted May 9, 2004 Author Posted May 9, 2004 Went down to see John at Riverdale Jap Imports today Was very impressed, some very nice cars down there - perhaps I could have the Skyline as a 2nd car If you're looking for a japanese car, go here I even saw a twin engined Escort! - tho the one in the back was the better one
HOL Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 LOL, I want a Blue one next Its funny who you meet when you go out. - 'That car looks lile Pele and Lee's' Twin engined whats more it was a Boxer Engine in a Box. What I cannot understand is - what is the big deal about storing an engine in the spare bedroom! Women
Pele Posted May 10, 2004 Author Posted May 10, 2004 So that's why it's called a boxer engine then? I wouldn't have a problem with storing an engine in the bedroom...
