Scooby Wagon Addict Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 (edited) Hi, Having buckled a wheel on a pothole on Glasgow's wonderful roads I am going to just buy a set of new aftermarket wheels rather than 1 Subaru wheel and get it powdercoated to match current wheels.. I cant make my mind up on either .. Inovit Redline but in gunmetal finish Inovit Tarmac or Kei Force 10 in Matt Gunmetal My car here.. What your opinions people? I cant decide!!! badbaz Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 The tarmacs would be my choice, they are very similar to my Prodrive ones which I think are brilliant The only thing I'd be worried about is if you buckled a genuine wheel then these aftermarkets are surely likely to be softer? (no experience, just what I've read)

That is a stunning looking car m8 Yeh heard that too about aftermarket ones but in all my *gulp* 8 scoobs this is the 1st time this has happened to me .. These days I use the car a lot less ,only do about 5k a year now, so the chances of it happening again are less.. plus I really want them anyway Steve
st3ph3n Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WORK-EMOTION-17-18-1...=item4a9ed64402 Get something interesting.
Scooby Wagon Addict Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Nice! But at £1000!!! I don't have that kind of cash .. I'm working up to a budget of less than half that.

Chris180883 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Ooooooo redlines in gunmetal would look the mutts nuts on a wagon
Scooby Wagon Addict Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 I agree they would .. I'm now swaying towards the Redlines after Googling some pics with Tarmacs on them .. altho there is these .. hmmm .. http://www.inovit-alloy-wheels.co.uk/produ...uka-range-wk17-

scoobywho Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 http://www.revolution247.com/rota-gra-gunmetal-67805-0.html Check these out I have them on my wagon now
tomwrx08 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 tarmacs then redlines even though ive the redline sfitted to mine at the mo
StewartyBoy Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) I had Kei Force 8's fitted to a Clio Williams YEEARRRSSS ago, what a difference they made to the handling with the wheels being lighter. I like em all, but Kei's for me. Everyone seems to like/fit the Inovits and Tarmacs, be different and get the Kei's! Edited August 12, 2010 by StewartyBoy
Scooby Wagon Addict Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Thanks everyone .. Stewartyboy kno what u mean Amazing tho, been phoning round so many places and NO-ONE has stock of either the Inovit Redline or Tarmac ..even more annoying is people who advertise them on their websites , then when u contact them they just dont keep them in stock, they just order them from Inovit.. who dont have any stock!! Only contacted 1 place for the Kei Force 10s and they didn't have them either.. God there's me wanting to spend money and I cant lol! If anyone has any places to recommend for alloys it'd be appreciated .. Only good contact I've had is Skidz in Falkirk who are chasing up the Inovits next week, and would have to order in the Kei wheels specially. Steve
tomwrx08 Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 try this guy on snet. http://bbs.scoobynet.com/traders-contact-a...ervice-ltd.html
Smiler AS Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) Redlines for me (even though mine are kinda similar to the tarmacs) Just a point worth mentioning, you going for 17s or 18's? Only reason being is that when I lowered my wagon and put 18's on, offset had to be spot on (as the wagons dont have the flared arches) hence the P1 alloys fitted - everything was close, especially tyres to the shocks. Il chuck on a pic too... Edited August 12, 2010 by Smiler AS
