thebigfelly Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 NOT THAT IM ON EITHER SIDE OWNING A NEWAGE BUT ........ just some classic i found pictures of that our newage members may not know about THESE LAST TWO I DO LIKE THOUGH
mystery machine Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 (edited) Some belters there! And I love that the first one has been photographed outside the 'Chapel Of Faith' - a popular destination for classic-owning religious types prior to each MOT...? Edited July 31, 2010 by Mystery Machine
scouk Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 The idea of the convertible is pretty cool and suits the Classic shape.. But it would completely kill the handling..
paul555sti Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 those casa blancas are so tragic.. lol. Aye but they look more like newage bugeyes
paul555sti Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Only kidding Al I had a bugeye wagon and I would have a prodrive saloon tomorrow.
lewisscoob Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 You think they are bad, look what they did to this one!
thebigfelly Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 You think they are bad, look what they did to this one! lol who's got a new vauxhall astra and put a subaru badge on it and a scopp on the bonnet
terzo neil Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 sitting on the fence on this one as own a classic and a newage
tommo9375 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 lol who's got a new vauxhall astra and put a subaru badge on it and a scopp on the bonnet I don't think they done that bad a job - maybe i'm biased ????
thebigfelly Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 anyone notice the similarities...? OR IS IT JUST ME
thebigfelly Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 HEAD LIGHTS THE SAME STYLE, GRILL IS SAME , LOWER GRILL NEARLY THE SAME , ONLY THING ID SAY IS FOG LIGHTS AND SCOOP... the flow of the edge of the bonnet and front wing are the same , all you have to to is put the same lower front skirt/splitter and change the badge and a scoop
the squiggle Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 sitting on the fence on this one as own a classic and a newage Thats gonna be one broken fence
lewisscoob Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 I don't think they done that bad a job - maybe i'm biased ???? Hahahaha, you would be a little biased though matey... I like the look of the STI Hatch but the others do look rather dull...
andyherd Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 classic will always be the original and best however i do like the look of a well done hawkeye
tommo9375 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Hahahaha, you would be a little biased though matey... I like the look of the STI Hatch but the others do look rather dull... I'm slightyly biased ,but then i do own a classic as well ,just sticking up for the Hatches
Stakka Bo Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 That looks quite cool, you would hear the burble really well!
braveheart Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 In honesty would only have the haweye if I was to go newage, but as we know which car does rule I'm very biased tho c'mon the classics. However we all wear the same badge on our grills..
RS Grant Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Classic with the correct Newage bits and bobs make for the best package IMO... if I was to return to a newage, then I'd have another Hawkeye STi cause I absolutely LOVE the aggro front end on them. Cheers, Grant
terzo neil Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Thats gonna be one broken fence got my own fence to sit on, see you on thursday night at the meet if you are man enough to turn up
rig-pig Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 having had both i think the newage is the best to run with every day and is obviously a newer car, but as a weekend toy/track car then defo a classic, in my eyes anyhoo
